Pulsar Telos LRF XT50 Product description

FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS

  • 1280×1024 HD Thermal Sensor: The European-made 12 μm pixel pitch detector delivers high image detail, supporting confident identification of targets across varying weather conditions.
  • Wide 17.5° Field of View: The broad viewing angle lets the user cover more of the scene in a single scan, making it faster and easier to observe large open areas.
  • Built-in Laser Rangefinder: Integrated ranging up to 1200 m, available in single-shot or scanning mode, provides distance measurement without a separate rangefinding device.
  • 2300 m Detection Range: The long detection distance supports observation across open terrain and mountainous areas, where heat sources need to be identified well before closing distance.

ABOUT THE TELOS SERIES

The Telos Series is Pulsar's line of upgradeable thermal monoculars, built around a shared platform that allows core components to be upgraded over time rather than replacing the entire device. The series is intended for hunters and professional users who want a long-term thermal imaging investment that can evolve alongside advances in sensor and display technology.

The TELOS LRF XT50 sits at the top of the Telos line, bringing the upgradeable platform into Pulsar's premium HD thermal imaging segment. Models across the series share a focus on high-detail thermal sensors, wide fields of view for efficient scanning, and rugged, field-ready construction, with the XT50 distinguished by its integrated laser rangefinder and top-tier sensor resolution within the range.

ABOUT THE MODEL (PULSAR TELOS LRF XT50)

The Pulsar TELOS LRF XT50 is a flagship thermal monocular built around a 1280×1024 HD thermal sensor with a 12 μm pixel pitch and a thermal sensitivity below 20 mK, paired with a 50 mm, F1.0 objective lens. This combination provides a wide 17.5° field of view (30.7 m @ 100 m) and a detection range of 2300 m, suited to scanning large forests, agricultural fields, and mountainous terrain where covering more of the scene at once improves observation efficiency.

A built-in laser rangefinder, operating at a 905 nm wavelength, measures distances up to 1200 m in single-shot or scanning mode, allowing the user to assess distance without carrying a separate rangefinding device — useful for evaluating shot placement or recovering wounded game in the field. Magnification spans 2–16x, extendable to 24x using Zoom Boost, with a digital zoom ring that retains the selected magnification level after the device is powered down. Electronic image stabilization reduces image shake at higher magnification, making it easier to track distant, moving subjects.

Images are shown on a Full HD AMOLED display with 1920×1080 resolution, offering high contrast while remaining power-efficient in low temperatures. The device supports 9 color palettes and 2 display shapes (rounded or circular), along with 3 amplification levels (Normal, High, Ultra) to adapt image processing to different thermal contrast and weather conditions, and a smoothing filter to reduce noise in low-contrast scenes. A Picture-in-Picture mode displays magnified target detail while retaining the wider field of view.

Photo and video recording (MP4 with sound) is supported, backed by 128 GB of internal memory. Stream Vision 2 connectivity, over Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz), enables smartphone pairing, live view, remote control, file transfer, and firmware updates, while Stream Vision Ballistics supports personalized ballistic profiles with on-screen corrections during range measurement. Haptic button feedback aids operation while wearing gloves, and a USB-C video output allows the device to function as a UVC camera for lower-latency video streaming.

Power comes from the replaceable Pulsar LPS 7i Li-Ion battery, providing up to 8 hours of operation and supporting direct USB-C charging. The nonslip, rubber-coated housing is rated IPX7 for protection against rain, snow, and temporary submersion in up to 1 m of water for 30 minutes, and includes a 1/4" tripod thread for stable long-session observation. Weighing 0.73 kg with battery and measuring 243 × 72 × 77 mm, the TELOS LRF XT50 is built for extended, demanding field use across an operating range of -25°C to +40°C.
