Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Compact-Green

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The green Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: The fixed three-dot layout presents the same reference in daylight and darkness, helping the shooter keep a familiar sight picture when lighting conditions change.
• Steel sight construction: A steel body gives the sight set the durability needed for regular carry, holster use, and repeated slide cycling on a working handgun.
• Fixed combat-style setup: With a fixed front and rear arrangement, the sight is built for a simple, robust zero that suits practical carry and service pistols.
• Square rear sight profile: The square rear notch supports clear front-sight indexing, which helps speed up alignment when shooting quickly at typical handgun distances.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is a family of self-illuminated handgun night sights built as replacement front and rear sights for a wide range of pistols. In Meprolight’s handgun lineup, Tru-Dot models cover the core fixed-sight concept as well as adjustable and suppressor-height variants, giving the series a broad role across concealed carry, service pistols, and general defensive use. The defining idea is simple: a three-dot sight picture that remains consistent from bright daylight to low-light conditions, so the shooter does not need to adapt to a different visual reference as ambient light changes.

Tritium illumination is central to the series, providing a visible aiming reference without batteries or external charging. That makes Tru-Dot sights especially relevant for pistols that may be carried daily, stored for home defense, or used in professional roles where immediate readiness matters. Across the range, Meprolight also offers different dot color combinations on selected models, while keeping the overall design focused on durability, straightforward installation, and practical speed. The result is a sight family aimed at shooters who want a familiar iron-sight presentation with dependable low-light visibility.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Compact-Green

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Compact-Green is a dedicated tritium night sight set for the USP Compact platform, built around a fixed three-dot arrangement that favors speed, simplicity, and dependable low-light use. Its all-green dot configuration gives the shooter a clear, uniform reference in dim conditions, while the same three-dot layout remains easy to read in normal daylight. For a defensive or carry-oriented pistol such as the USP Compact, that consistency matters because the sight picture does not change as the environment gets darker.

The sight set uses a steel construction, which suits a handgun that may see regular carry, training, and repeated holster work. A fixed setup also makes practical sense on this type of pistol: there are no external adjustment controls to snag or shift, and the sight remains focused on robust everyday use rather than target-style tuning. The square rear sight helps define the front sight cleanly, which supports faster alignment for close to moderate handgun distances where rapid sight acquisition is often more important than fine adjustment.

Because this model is part of the Meprolight Tru-Dot family, it also brings the core benefit of self-illuminated operation. There are no batteries to monitor and no switches to activate, so the sights are always available when the pistol is needed. For users of the Heckler & Koch USP Compact who want a durable iron-sight upgrade with a familiar combat-style picture, this configuration keeps the emphasis on readiness and straightforward use.

Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. Today, Meprolight’s range covers sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines, along with magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices. The company is a division of SK Group and is known for combining conventional sight designs with tritium, reflex, and electro-optical technologies.
