Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa Thunder 380

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: Matching front and rear dots give the shooter the same reference in daylight and darkness, helping speed up sight acquisition under stress.
• Steel sight construction: A steel body stands up better to daily carry, holster wear, and repeated slide manipulation than softer materials, which matters on a working defensive handgun.
• Fixed sight setup: The fixed configuration keeps the profile simple and durable, reducing the chance of settings shifting during carry or regular handling.
• Model-specific fit for Bersa Thunder 380: Built as a replacement sight set for the Bersa Thunder 380 platform, it offers a straightforward upgrade from standard sights while preserving familiar handling.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is Meprolight’s established family of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple sight picture that works in both daylight and reduced light. Across the current handgun lineup, the series includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, which allows the platform to cover concealed-carry pistols, duty handguns, and specialized setups.

A defining characteristic of the series is its three-dot aiming layout, designed to keep the visual reference consistent as lighting changes. Instead of relying on batteries or external charging, the sights use tritium illumination to provide a visible aiming reference in darkness. That makes the Tru-Dot concept especially relevant for defensive pistols, where immediate readiness matters more than added controls or electronics. The series is also built as a replacement for factory front and rear sights on compatible handguns, so it fits naturally into practical carry and service use. With models offered for multiple pistol makers, including Bersa, the Tru-Dot line focuses on durability, familiar alignment, and dependable low-light visibility.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa Thunder 380

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Bersa Thunder 380 is a dedicated tritium night sight set for shooters who want a more usable sight picture on a compact defensive pistol. On a handgun such as the Bersa Thunder 380, the main advantage is not complexity but speed: the sight set presents a clear 3-dot alignment that is easy to read when bringing the pistol on target quickly. Because the dots remain visible in low light, the pistol keeps a recognizable aiming reference when standard black sights begin to disappear.

This model uses a green tritium configuration with a square rear sight, a combination that supports straightforward front-sight indexing and a familiar defensive sight picture. The fixed design favors reliability and everyday practicality. There are no adjustment screws to snag, loosen, or complicate the setup, which suits a carry pistol that is expected to work the same way every time it is drawn. The steel construction also matters in real use: it gives the sight set the strength needed for regular carry, repeated presentation from the holster, and long-term service on a working handgun.

As a handgun night sight upgrade, this Tru-Dot set is best suited to owners who want to keep the Bersa Thunder 380 compact and simple while improving visibility in dim interiors, at dusk, or in nighttime conditions. It preserves the pistol’s traditional iron-sight handling while adding a sight picture that remains usable around the clock.
