Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta PX-4 Storm F&G

• Self-illuminated tritium system: The green Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Consistent 3-dot alignment: The fixed three-dot layout gives the same reference in daylight and darkness, helping speed up sight acquisition and reducing the need to adapt to changing light.
• Steel construction: A steel sight body stands up well to daily carry, repeated holstering, and hard use, making it a practical upgrade over more fragile factory sight sets.
• Fixed sight design: With no adjustment controls to snag or shift, this configuration favors simple, dependable operation on a carry or service pistol.
• Beretta PX-4 Storm fit: Built for the Beretta PX-4 Storm F&G, this sight set offers a model-specific replacement for shooters who want improved low-light visibility without changing the pistol’s handling.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is Meprolight’s established family of self-illuminated handgun night sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that works in both daylight and darkness. The current handgun range includes fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height versions, which places the series across defensive carry, service use, and specialized pistol setups. Rather than changing the sight picture between lighting conditions, Tru-Dot sights keep the same three-dot reference, helping the shooter maintain a familiar presentation when moving from bright light into dim interiors or nighttime conditions.

A defining feature of the series is tritium illumination, which provides a visible aiming reference without batteries or switches. That makes the sights especially practical on handguns carried for personal protection or professional use, where immediate readiness matters more than added controls. The series also covers pistols from multiple manufacturers, including Beretta and Bersa, and selected models are offered in different tritium dot color combinations. Across the range, the design philosophy stays focused on direct replacement sights that preserve the handgun’s straightforward handling while improving visibility when light is limited.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta PX-4 Storm F&G

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Beretta PX-4 Storm F&G is a fixed tritium night sight set made for shooters who want a more visible iron-sight system on the PX-4 platform without adding batteries or electronic components. Its main advantage is consistency: the green 3-dot sight picture remains available in low light while still presenting a familiar reference in daytime use. For a defensive or service pistol, that matters because the sight picture does not change with ambient light, so transitions from bright outdoor conditions to darker interiors are more intuitive.

The fixed configuration also suits the role of the Beretta PX-4 Storm well. With no user-adjustable controls, the sight set stays streamlined and avoids the extra bulk or complexity that can come with adjustable handgun sights. The square rear sight gives a clear, conventional notch picture that many shooters prefer for fast front-sight indexing, while the steel construction supports long-term durability under repeated draw, recoil, and holster wear. At 100.00 g, the set remains a practical hardware upgrade rather than a major change to the pistol’s balance.

Because this model is built specifically for the Beretta PX-4 Storm F&G, it is aimed at owners who want better low-light capability while keeping the familiar handling of a compact fighting pistol. For concealed carry, home defense, or duty-oriented use, the combination of self-illumination, fixed alignment, and robust metal construction makes it a straightforward improvement over standard non-illuminated sights.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. It is a division of SK Group and has built its reputation around practical sighting products designed for hard field use rather than range-only applications.

The company’s product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices. That broad catalog is relevant here because Meprolight has long experience in self-illuminated sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. In the handgun category, its focus has been on durable replacement sights that improve visibility in low light while keeping operation simple and immediate.
