Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M2, Nova, Super Nova

• Self-Illuminated Tritium: The Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, giving the shotgun a constant aiming reference for defensive use, hunting, and general field carry.
• Three-Dot Alignment: A clear 3-dot layout helps the eye center the front sight quickly, which supports faster target acquisition than a plain bead when light conditions are poor.
• Steel Construction: The steel body adds the durability needed for hard use on working shotguns, helping the sights withstand recoil, knocks, and regular handling.
• Fixed Sight Setup: With a fixed configuration, the system keeps operation simple and robust, making it well suited to shotguns that are expected to work reliably without adjustment in the field.
• Benelli-Specific Fit: Built for the Benelli M2, Nova, and Super Nova, this model offers a direct upgrade path for compatible shotguns, improving low-light usability while preserving a familiar handling feel.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

The Meprolight Tru-Dot series is built around a simple idea: provide a consistent three-dot sight picture that remains usable in both daylight and low-light conditions. Within Meprolight’s catalog, the series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height variants, with models made for a wide range of firearm platforms and sighting needs. The common thread is tritium illumination, which gives the shooter a visible aiming reference without relying on batteries, switches, or charging routines.

In practical use, the series is aimed at shooters who want a durable replacement for factory sights and a more dependable reference when ambient light drops. Different Tru-Dot versions address different applications, but the family is defined by straightforward operation, fast alignment, and compatibility-focused design. On models such as this shotgun version, the emphasis is on a sight picture that stays familiar and easy to read while adding the low-light advantage of self-illuminated dots. That makes Tru-Dot sights relevant for defensive firearms, duty use, and field guns that may be carried from bright daylight into dim interiors or evening conditions.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M2, Nova, Super Nova

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Benelli M2, Nova, and Super Nova is a dedicated shotgun sight upgrade intended for shooters who want a clearer aiming reference than a standard bead, especially when light is limited. Its self-illuminated tritium design keeps the dots visible at all times without batteries, which is particularly useful on a shotgun kept for home defense, patrol use, or hunting at dawn and dusk. There is nothing to switch on, so the sight picture is immediately available when the gun is brought to the shoulder.

The 3-dot alignment system gives the eye a more structured reference than a single front bead, helping the shooter confirm alignment faster when mounting the shotgun quickly. Because the sight is fixed, it favors ruggedness and simplicity over adjustment complexity, which suits the practical role of a hard-use Benelli platform. The steel construction supports long-term durability under recoil and regular field handling, while the black finish keeps the appearance subdued and functional. For owners of compatible Benelli shotguns, this model adds a low-light aiming advantage without changing the basic handling character of the firearm, making it a sensible choice for users who value speed, visibility, and mechanical simplicity.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian users. Its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, night-vision systems, thermal devices, and related sighting solutions for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines.

That background is directly relevant to products such as the Tru-Dot series. Meprolight’s long focus on practical sighting systems has given the brand a strong reputation for robust, duty-oriented designs that prioritize visibility and dependable operation. As a division of SK Group, the company continues to work across both traditional iron sights and more advanced electro-optical categories, with an emphasis on field-ready performance rather than unnecessary complexity.
