Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Iwi Jericho

• Jericho-specific fit: This mounting adapter is made for the IWI Jericho, giving the Meprolight MicroRDS a dedicated interface instead of a generic workaround. That helps the sight sit correctly on the pistol and supports a more secure installation.
• Supports MicroRDS installation: By adapting the pistol for a compact red dot, the mount makes it easier to add a faster sighting system for defensive shooting, range work, or practical training where quick target acquisition matters.
• Integrated backup sight concept: The existing product configuration references a BUIS & dot-sight mount, which is useful on a handgun because it preserves an iron-sight fallback alongside the optic setup.
• Quick-release design: The adapter is described as a quick release adapter, which is practical for users who want to remove or reinstall the optic assembly with less downtime during maintenance or configuration changes.
• Durable black finish: The black finish keeps the adapter visually consistent with modern pistol and optic setups while providing a low-profile appearance suited to duty, defensive, and sporting use.

About the Meprolight Accessories Series

Meprolight Accessories is the company’s dedicated accessory family, kept separate from its optics and sight lines and focused on the practical hardware that supports them. The range centers on mounting solutions and protective add-ons that help users adapt Meprolight sights to specific firearms and operating requirements. Within the series, Meprolight includes items such as mounting hardware, M21 adapters, and glare-control components like polarizer and flash guard kits for the M21 and M22 sights.

That makes the series especially relevant for shooters who want to configure a sight around a particular platform rather than treat the optic as a standalone product. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the accessory focused on compatibility, secure fit, and practical field use. In the broader Meprolight lineup, this series supports pistol, rifle, and reflex-sight applications by providing the interface parts that make an optic system usable on the intended weapon. For handgun optics in particular, the accessory range plays an important role because the mount determines how naturally the sight aligns with the pistol and how confidently the system can be installed and maintained.

About the Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Iwi Jericho

The Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Iwi Jericho is a handgun red dot mounting solution built around one clear purpose: adapting the IWI Jericho for use with the Meprolight MicroRDS system. On a pistol platform, that matters because the mount is the part that connects the optic to the handgun in a way that affects fit, handling, and overall confidence in the setup. A dedicated adapter is generally preferable to an improvised mounting arrangement, especially on a defensive or training pistol where repeatable presentation is important.

This model is also notable for being described as a BUIS & dot-sight mount, which points to a configuration that combines a compact reflex sight with backup iron-sight capability. In practical use, that gives the shooter the speed advantage of a red dot while retaining a secondary aiming reference. The listed green night sight element further supports low-light visibility, which is relevant on a carry or duty-style handgun where sight acquisition can become more difficult as ambient light drops.

The quick release adapter format adds another practical benefit. It can simplify removal for service, inspection, or reconfiguration without turning the mount into a permanent one-purpose installation. Finished in black and intended for red dot sights, this adapter fits naturally into modern handgun optics setups where compactness, compatibility, and straightforward installation are more important than unnecessary bulk.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company is a division of SK Group and focuses on optical and electro-optical sighting systems. Its product range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices.

That background is relevant here because Meprolight has long worked across pistol, rifle, shotgun, and carbine sighting systems rather than in only one narrow product segment. The company serves military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets, which has shaped a product philosophy centered on practical durability, fast target acquisition, and platform-specific compatibility. For handgun optics accessories such as this Jericho mount, that experience shows in the emphasis on adapting a sighting system to the firearm in a direct and application-focused way.
