Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Glock

• Dedicated Glock fit: This Meprolight adapter is made for Glock pistol platforms, giving the MicroRDS a secure interface that helps maintain alignment and repeatable zero during regular carry, training, or range use.
• Built for red dot integration: By creating the correct mounting surface for a compact pistol optic, the adapter simplifies the move from iron sights to a faster sight picture and more consistent target acquisition.
• Compact black construction: The low-profile black finish keeps the setup visually discreet and practical on a handgun, without adding unnecessary bulk to the slide area.
• Part of the Meprolight accessories range: As a purpose-built accessory from the same manufacturer as the optic system, it is designed around compatibility and straightforward installation rather than generic one-size-fits-all mounting.
• Suitable for repeatable mounting applications: In handgun optics use, a properly matched adapter matters because it supports stable optic positioning, which is essential for preserving zero after handling, transport, or routine maintenance.

About the Meprolight Accessories Series

Meprolight Accessories is a dedicated product family that sits apart from the company’s optics and sighting systems, focusing on the practical parts that make those products easier to mount, protect, and use. The series covers items such as mounting hardware, adapters, risers, and glare-control components, giving shooters a way to configure Meprolight sights for specific firearms and roles without relying on improvised solutions. Within the wider Meprolight lineup, this range supports both defensive and professional applications by addressing the details that affect fit, installation, and day-to-day handling.

The series reflects a straightforward design approach: accessories are built to solve a specific interface problem, whether that means adapting an optic to a host platform, adding the correct mounting height, or reducing glare on a duty sight. Current listings in the range include direct-mount plates, a Picatinny riser, M21 adapters, and polarizer or flash guard kits for the M21 and M22 sights. That makes the series relevant not only to pistol red dots, but also to rifle and reflex sight users who need a factory-matched accessory with the right geometry for reliable field use.

About the Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Glock

The Meprolight MicroRDS Mounting Adapter for Glock is a handgun optics accessory designed to provide the correct mounting interface between a Glock pistol and a MicroRDS red dot sight. Its role is simple but important: it creates a stable connection point so the optic can sit correctly on the pistol, which is essential for dependable zero retention and consistent point-of-aim during repeated shooting sessions. On a pistol-mounted red dot, the mount is not a secondary detail; it is a core part of how well the sight performs in practice.

Because this adapter is made specifically for Glock platforms, it suits shooters who want a cleaner and more purpose-built installation than a generic mounting solution can offer. That matters in defensive, training, and competition contexts, where optic position and mounting security directly affect how quickly the dot is found during the draw and how confidently the pistol can be run through recoil. The black finish keeps the setup unobtrusive and visually matched to modern handgun slides and optics.

As part of the Meprolight mounting ecosystem, this adapter is best understood as a compatibility component that supports the practical advantages of a pistol red dot: faster target acquisition, easier focus on the target, and more precise aiming at speed. For shooters building a Glock around a compact reflex sight, the adapter provides the mechanical foundation that allows the optic to do its job properly.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company is a division of SK Group and focuses on the development and manufacture of optical and electro-optical sighting systems. Its work spans conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, thermal sights, magnified optics, magnifiers, and night-vision systems.

That background is relevant to a product such as a pistol optic mount because Meprolight’s catalog is built around complete sighting solutions for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. The company serves military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets, so its accessories are shaped by the same emphasis on compatibility, durability, and practical firearm integration that defines its sighting products.
