Meprolight Mepro R4E SUP for Glock

• Self-Illuminated Tritium: The Meprolight Mepro R4E SUP for Glock stays visible in low light and darkness without batteries, so the sight picture remains available for defensive use at any hour.
• Five-Element Sight Picture: The R4E layout uses three rear alignment features and two front references to speed up visual indexing, helping the shooter pick up the sights faster under stress.
• Suppressor-Height Format: The SUP configuration gives additional sight height for Glock pistols, making it suitable where a taller iron-sight setup is needed and easier to co-witness around slide-mounted equipment.
• Steel Construction: A steel sight body handles daily carry, holster wear, and repeated recoil better than softer materials, which matters on a working defensive pistol.
• Fixed Duty Setup: With a fixed front and rear arrangement, the sight set keeps operation simple and robust, with no adjustment controls to snag or shift during carry.

About the Meprolight R4E Series

The Meprolight R4E series is an optimized-duty branch of the company’s TRU-DOT pistol-sight range, developed for shooters who want a fast, intuitive iron-sight picture on defensive handguns. Introduced in 2015, the R4E concept focuses on rapid alignment rather than a conventional three-dot arrangement. Its defining feature is a five-element sight picture, combining three vertical references at the rear with two horizontal front references to help the eye center the pistol quickly.

The series is intended for defensive, duty, and concealed-carry pistols, where sight acquisition speed matters as much as low-light visibility. Tritium inserts in both front and rear sights provide constant illumination without batteries, so the sights remain ready day and night with no switches or charging routine. Meprolight builds the R4E sights from steel, reflecting a practical design approach aimed at service use and repeated carry. The series is offered with green or orange tritium illumination, giving shooters a choice in how they want the front and rear references to stand out.

About the Meprolight Mepro R4E SUP for Glock

The Meprolight Mepro R4E SUP for Glock is a suppressor-height tritium sight set built for Glock pistols that need a taller iron-sight profile without giving up the speed-oriented R4E sight picture. In practical use, that extra height is valuable on pistols configured with a raised line of sight requirement, while still preserving the direct, uncomplicated handling expected from fixed handgun sights.

This model uses self-illuminated tritium night sights, so the front and rear references remain visible in darkness and transitional light with no batteries to monitor. That matters on a defensive pistol because the sight picture is always present when the pistol is drawn, whether the environment is bright daylight, indoor shadow, or nighttime. The square rear sight works with the R4E alignment concept to give a clear rear reference, while the fixed configuration favors durability and consistency over user-adjustable controls.

As part of the R4E family, this Glock version is designed around fast visual alignment under pressure. The system helps the shooter confirm orientation quickly, which is especially useful at close defensive distances where time is limited. Finished in black, the sight body keeps reflections subdued, and the steel-based duty-oriented design of the R4E platform suits regular carry, training, and service-style use.
