Meprolight FT Bullseye for Glock 42, 43, 48

• Single-sight bullseye aiming system: The FT Bullseye replaces the usual front-and-rear alignment with one compact aiming reference, helping speed up sight acquisition on slim defensive pistols where fast presentation matters.
• Fiber optic and tritium illumination: Daylight brightness comes from fiber optics while tritium supports low-light use, so the sight remains visible around the clock without batteries or switches.
• Low-profile fixed design: Its compact housing keeps the pistol streamlined for concealed carry and everyday handling, with no adjustment controls to snag or shift under routine use.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body gives the sight the rigidity needed for slide-mounted use while keeping weight and bulk low on compact Glock platforms.
• Built for Glock 42, 43 and 48 fitment: This version is tailored to slim Glock models, giving owners a dedicated self-illuminated sight option for discreet carry and close-range defensive shooting.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye Series

The Meprolight FT Bullseye series sits in the brand’s current handgun-sights lineup as a compact alternative to conventional pistol sights. Rather than relying on the familiar front blade and rear notch arrangement, the series is built around a bullseye-style aiming reference that simplifies what the eye has to process during the draw. That makes the concept especially relevant for defensive pistols and concealed-carry handguns, where quick alignment at short to moderate distances is often the priority.

A defining feature of the family is its battery-free illumination system. Meprolight combines fiber optics for daytime visibility with tritium for low-light and dark conditions, so the sight picture stays usable across changing light without buttons, electronics, or charging routines. The FT Bullseye range includes both front-sight and rear-sight versions, depending on pistol fitment and user preference. Across the series, the design philosophy stays consistent: keep the sight low, compact, and simple, while giving compatible carry pistols a self-illuminated aiming solution that is always ready when the handgun is drawn.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye for Glock 42, 43, 48

The Meprolight FT Bullseye for Glock 42, 43, 48 is configured for slim Glock pistols commonly chosen for concealed carry and defensive use. Its main advantage is the way it reduces the aiming process to a single visual reference. Instead of aligning separate front and rear elements, the shooter centers the bullseye-style image, which can feel faster and more direct during close-range presentations. On compact pistols with a short sight radius, that simplified picture can be particularly useful when speed matters more than fine target-style adjustment.

The sight uses fiber optics in daylight and tritium in low light, giving the pistol a self-illuminated sighting system that works without batteries. In practical terms, that means the sight is always on and does not depend on power management, making it well suited to a carry gun that may spend long periods holstered before being needed. The fixed sight adjustment also supports this role by keeping the design straightforward and snag-free, with no exposed controls to complicate handling.

Its aluminium housing and black low-profile form help the sight stay compact on the slide, preserving the clean lines that matter on small-frame handguns. As a tritium night sight built specifically for Glock 42, 43, and 48 fitment, it is aimed at shooters who want a durable, simplified iron-sight solution rather than a bulkier electronic optic.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company develops and manufactures optical and electro-optical sighting systems for military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets. It is a division of SK Group, and its catalog extends well beyond handgun sights into rifle and shotgun sighting systems, magnified optics, reflex optics, night-vision devices, and thermal products.

That broad product base is relevant here because Meprolight’s reputation has been built around practical sighting solutions designed for hard use. The company’s range includes conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, and thermal sights, showing a long-standing focus on low-light aiming technology and compact fighting-optic design. In the handgun category, that experience is reflected in products such as the FT Bullseye, which emphasize constant readiness, simple operation, and robust construction.
