Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50

• 6x zoom range: The 3-18x magnification span gives this riflescope the flexibility to move from closer woodland shots to deliberate longer-range work without changing optics.
• 50 mm objective lens: A larger front lens helps maintain a bright, usable sight picture as magnification rises, which is especially useful in low light and on smaller targets.
• Side parallax adjustment: Focus correction from 10 m to infinity helps keep the target and reticle on the same visual plane, reducing aiming error at varying distances.
• Tactical turrets: The exposed adjustment layout is suited to shooters who dial corrections in the field, making elevation and windage changes quicker and more repeatable.
• Nitrogen-purged, waterproof construction: The sealed 30 mm tube resists internal fogging and weather exposure, supporting reliable use across changing temperatures and rough outdoor conditions.

About the Meopta MeoPro Series

The Meopta MeoPro series was introduced in 2010 as a more accessible line within Meopta’s sporting optics range, aimed at shooters who want dependable optical and mechanical performance without moving into the company’s higher-tier models. The original MeoPro riflescopes were built as 1-inch-tube sporting scopes, with a design focus on practical hunting use, straightforward handling, and solid all-round versatility.

A defining part of the series has been MeoBright 550 ion-assisted lens coatings, developed to improve light transmission and image clarity in real field conditions. Meopta also equipped the line with MeoTrak II positive-click adjustment controls, reflecting the series’ emphasis on repeatable tracking and confident zeroing. In concept, the MeoPro family sits between basic entry-level optics and Meopta’s more specialized premium lines, making it relevant for hunters and recreational precision shooters who need reliable performance across a broad range of distances and lighting conditions.

About the Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50

The Meopta MeoPro R6 3-18x50 is a versatile riflescope for hunting optics and practical long-range use, combining a 3-18x magnification range with a 50.00 mm objective lens. At the low end, 3x remains manageable for shorter and medium-distance shots where target acquisition still matters; at 18x, the scope gives the precision needed for careful shot placement on smaller or more distant targets. The 6x zoom ratio makes it suitable for shooters who want one optic to cover a broad spread of terrain and engagement distances.

Its optical layout is built around a 90% light transmission figure, with a field of view ranging from 11.20 m/100m down to 1.90 m/100m as magnification increases. In practice, that means a wider view for scanning and target pickup at lower power, while higher magnification supports more exact aiming. Eye relief of 92.00-98.00 mm helps maintain a comfortable shooting position, and the fast-focus eyepiece allows quick reticle sharpening to the shooter’s eye.

This model also suits shooters who prefer dialing corrections. Tactical turrets and a side-focus parallax system adjustable from 10 m to inf. support more deliberate shooting at changing distances, where precise focus and repeatable adjustments matter. The 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction give the scope the durability expected for regular field use in changing weather.

About Meopta

Meopta traces its roots to Optikotechna, founded in Přerov, Czechoslovakia, in 1933. After World War II, the company was nationalized and renamed Meopta, and it later resumed riflescope production in 1988. Today, the company is headquartered in Přerov, Czech Republic and develops and manufactures optical, opto-mechanical, and optoelectronic products.

In the sporting sector, Meopta is known for producing riflescopes, binoculars, and spotting scopes, with product families such as MeoStar covering multiple premium optics categories. The brand also uses proprietary technologies including MeoBright antireflective coatings and MeoDrop hydrophobic lens coatings, both relevant to field optics where image quality and weather resistance matter. That background gives Meopta a strong reputation among shooters who value European-made optics with a practical, mechanically focused design approach.
