MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, FN Browning Mauser, 34 mm

• 34 mm ring size: Built for modern riflescopes with a 34 mm main tube, giving secure support for larger optics often chosen for long-range and low-light hunting setups.
• Adjustable windage: Side-to-side correction in the mount helps align the scope more precisely with the rifle, which can preserve internal scope adjustment for zeroing.
• Steel construction: A steel build adds rigidity and wear resistance at the points that matter most, helping the mount stay consistent under repeated recoil and regular field use.
• 0 MOA inclination: The neutral cant keeps the optic in a standard alignment, making it a practical choice for general hunting and sporting rifles where extra elevation bias is not required.
• Low 14.00 mm build height: The compact ring height helps keep the riflescope closer to the bore, supporting a stable cheek weld and a more natural shooting position.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional pivot-mount family for rifles and break-action firearms, built around a two-piece pivot design that combines a classic mounting concept with model-specific fit. The series has been documented in MAK catalogues since 2019 and includes versions with rotating locks and lever locks, giving shooters different ways to match handling preference and rifle type.

Within the range, MAK offers configurations for both scope tubes and optic rails, along with different mount heights and front-foot offsets. That makes the series relevant for hunters and sporting shooters who need a mount tailored not only to the optic diameter, but also to the rifle’s action geometry and the desired scope position. A defining characteristic of the MAKlassic line is its rifle-specific approach: catalogued versions are configured for particular firearm models rather than treated as one universal solution. In practice, that supports a cleaner fit, predictable eye alignment, and a mounting setup that suits traditional hunting rifles as well as break-action platforms.

About the MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, FN Browning Mauser, 34 mm

The MAKlassic Pivot upper parts, FN Browning Mauser, 34 mm are the upper ring assembly for a pivot-mount setup intended for 34 mm riflescope tubes. This format suits larger hunting optics and tactical optics that use a wider main tube for increased adjustment travel and robust mechanical construction. Paired with the appropriate lower pivot bases, these upper parts create a model-specific mounting solution for the FN Browning Mauser platform.

The combination of steel construction and a 14.00 mm BH height is especially relevant in practical use. Steel gives the ring assembly the stiffness needed to hold alignment under recoil and repeated removal or reinstallation, while the relatively low build helps keep the optic close to the barrel. That usually improves head position behind the scope and supports faster, more repeatable sight acquisition in field shooting positions.

This version also features adjustable windage, which is valuable when fine-tuning the optical alignment of the mounting system to the rifle. By allowing correction in the mount itself, it can reduce the need to use excessive internal windage adjustment in the riflescope. The 0 MOA inclination keeps the setup neutral, making it well suited to general-purpose hunting and sporting use where a standard zeroing range is the priority rather than extended elevation bias for very long-distance shooting. Finished in black, it matches the understated look expected on a traditional pivot mount.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian and government users. Its product range covers hunters, sports shooters, and professional users, with both standardized products and customized solutions for specialist applications.

Within the shooting optics field, MAK is known for several dedicated product lines. These include MAKuick quick-release mounts for rifles, MAKmilmont monoblock mounts for Picatinny rails, as well as optics lines such as MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes. The MAK Group also identifies patented solutions across its mounts, optics, and electronics, reflecting a design focus on mechanical function and integration across different weapon and optic platforms.
