MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotation Lock, Heym SR20, LM Rail

• Two-piece pivot design: Separates the mount into front and rear bases for a classic low-profile installation that suits traditional hunting rifles and keeps the action area clear.
• Rotation lock system: Secures the optic with a repeatable pivoting lock-up, helping maintain dependable alignment when the sight is removed and reattached.
• Heym SR 20-specific fit: Built for the Heym SR 20 interface, which gives a model-matched mounting solution instead of a universal compromise.
• LM Rail interface: Accepts rail-equipped optics without separate rings, creating a clean connection and simplifying scope selection for users who prefer rail-mounted glass.
• Steel construction: The steel build favors long-term rigidity and wear resistance, an important benefit on rifles that see regular field use and repeated mounting cycles.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional line of two-piece pivot mounts for rifles and break-action firearms. The series has been catalogued since 2019 and is built around the idea of a rifle-specific mounting solution rather than a one-size-fits-all system. In practice, that means individual configurations for different firearm models, optic interfaces, mount heights, and front-foot offsets.

Within the MAK lineup, the series sits as a classic hunting-oriented option for shooters who value a clean rifle profile, secure lock-up, and the familiar handling of a pivot mount. MAKlassic mounts are offered with rotating locks and lever locks, as well as versions for scope tubes or optic rails, so the system can be matched to both the rifle and the sighting setup. That flexibility makes the series relevant for users fitting traditional European hunting rifles, especially where detachable optics and repeatable reinstallation matter. The design philosophy is straightforward: a stable steel mounting platform, model-specific geometry, and a mechanical layout that supports practical field use without adding unnecessary bulk.

About the MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotation Lock, Heym SR20, LM Rail

This MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount is configured specifically for the Heym SR 20 and for optics with an LM Rail. That combination makes it a strong fit for hunters who want the traditional handling of a pivot mount while using a rail-equipped riflescope instead of ring mounting. Because the mount is matched to the rifle model, it supports a more integrated fit and preserves the balanced look expected on classic sporting rifles.

The key functional feature here is the rotation lock. In practical use, it gives the mount a defined locking action when the optic is pivoted into place, which is valuable for shooters who remove an optic for transport, storage, or switching sighting systems and want a consistent return to the rifle. The two-piece layout also helps keep the setup visually discreet and mechanically simple, which suits traditional bolt-action hunting rifles better than bulkier one-piece solutions in many cases.

Its steel construction is an important part of the mount’s character. Steel brings the rigidity and wear resistance expected from a mount that may be opened, closed, and carried in the field over many seasons. Combined with the rail-based upper interface, this mount offers a practical solution for users who want secure attachment, repeatable positioning, and a classic detachable mounting system for a Heym SR 20 hunting rifle.
