MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotation Lock, FN Browning BAR, LM Rail

• Two-piece pivot design: The separate front and rear bases keep the rifle balanced and preserve access to the action, while the pivot system lets the optic return to the same mounted position after removal.
• Rotation lock: The rotating lock secures the mount positively in use, giving a stable connection that suits repeated mounting and dismounting in the field.
• Windage adjustment: Built-in lateral adjustment helps align the optic precisely to the rifle, reducing the need to use excessive scope correction and preserving more internal adjustment range.
• Steel construction: A steel build favors long-term durability and resistance to wear at the locking surfaces, which matters on hunting rifles that see frequent recoil and transport.
• LM Rail interface: The mount is configured for optics with an LM Rail, providing a secure rail-based connection for compatible scopes without separate rings.

About the MAKlassic Series

MAKlassic is MAK’s traditional line of two-piece pivot mounts for rifles and break-action firearms. The series is built around rifle-specific fitment, with catalogued versions made for particular actions rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. That makes the line especially relevant for hunters who want a mount that matches the geometry of a given rifle and keeps the optic low and well aligned.

Within the range, rotating-lock and lever-lock variants cover different handling preferences, while versions for scope tubes and optic rails allow the same mounting concept to be used with different sighting systems. The series also includes different mount heights and front-foot offsets, so the setup can be tailored to objective bell clearance and rifle layout. In practical use, the MAKlassic concept focuses on a repeatable detachable mounting system with the familiar handling of a classic pivot mount, making it well suited to hunting rifles that may alternate between scoped and open-sight use.

About the MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount, Rotation Lock, FN Browning BAR, LM Rail

This version of the MAKlassic Two-Piece Pivot Mount is configured for the FN Browning BAR platform and for optics that use an LM Rail. That combination makes it a practical choice for hunters who want the clean profile of a rail-mounted scope together with the handling advantages of a detachable pivot mount. Because the mount is matched to the rifle family, it supports a secure fit without adding unnecessary bulk.

The rotation lock is central to how this mount works in the field. It gives the user a positive locking action when the optic is installed, helping the sight stay firmly seated during recoil and normal carrying. For rifles that may be transported with the optic removed or used in changing hunting conditions, that detachable format is useful because it allows the rifle to be reconfigured without abandoning a mechanically solid mounting system.

A further practical feature is the windage adjustment. By allowing lateral alignment at the mount, it helps center the optic more efficiently over the bore and can preserve more of the scope’s internal correction range for actual zeroing. The steel construction also matters here: it supports durability at the pivot and locking points, where repeated engagement and recoil place the greatest demands on the mount. Altogether, this is a rifle-specific steel pivot mount intended for dependable use on Browning BAR-pattern hunting rifles with LM Rail optics.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian and government markets that include hunters, sports shooters, and professional users. Its product portfolio extends from mounting systems to sighting optics and accessory electronics, showing a broad specialization in the interface between firearm and optic.

Within that range, MAK is known for product families such as MAKuick quick-release mounts, MAKmilmont monoblock mounts for Picatinny rails, and optics lines including MAKdot, MAKstorm, and MAKpro. The group also identifies patented solutions across its mounts, optics, and electronics, reflecting a design focus on practical mechanical function and repeatable attachment systems. That background is directly relevant to the MAKlassic line, where precise fit and dependable mounting geometry are the main priorities.
