Levenhuk Monaco ED 8x32

• ED optical system: Extra-low-dispersion optics help reduce color fringing and improve contrast, so fine detail stays cleaner when watching birds, scanning open ground, or following moving subjects against bright backgrounds.
• Compact 8x32 format: The 8x magnification gives a steady, easy-to-hold view, while the 32 mm objectives keep the binoculars lighter and easier to carry than full-size models for hiking and travel.
• Wide field of view: A field of view of 138.00 m/1000m makes it easier to locate subjects quickly and track movement, which is especially useful for wildlife observation and general outdoor use.
• Long eye relief: With 18.00 mm of eye relief, the binoculars remain comfortable for extended viewing and work well for eyeglass wearers who need to see the full image without strain.
• Waterproof, nitrogen-filled housing: The sealed, fogproof construction keeps the optics usable in rain, damp air, and changing temperatures, making the binoculars more dependable in the field.

About the Levenhuk Monaco Series

The Levenhuk Monaco series is a roof-prism binocular family built for users who want a more travel-friendly shape without giving up the features expected from serious outdoor optics. The lineup covers magnifications from 8× to 15× and objective sizes from 25 mm to 56 mm, giving it a broad spread from compact carry models to larger binoculars for longer observation sessions. Levenhuk introduced the Monaco ED series in 2019 as a continuation of the Monaco line, adding extra-low-dispersion glass for improved control of optical aberrations.

Across the series, the design centers on roof prisms with dielectric coatings, fully multi-coated lenses, and optical layouts that use multi-element eyepieces and objective systems to support a sharp, wide image. The Monaco range is aimed at hunting, fishing, and birdwatching, so the mechanical design also reflects field use: waterproof, nitrogen-filled housings, central focusing, twist-up eyecups, and tripod adaptability where needed. In practice, that makes Monaco binoculars a versatile choice for users who need compact handling, weather resistance, and a bright, well-corrected image for observation in varied outdoor conditions.

About the Levenhuk Monaco ED 8x32

The Levenhuk Monaco ED 8x32 is the compact member of the Monaco ED family, built for users who want a binocular that is easy to carry all day but still offers the optical refinement needed for demanding observation. Its 8.00 x magnification is a practical choice for handheld use because it gives useful reach without making the image overly sensitive to shake. Paired with a 32.00 mm objective, it keeps the instrument smaller than a full-size 42 mm binocular while still delivering enough brightness for general daylight use and the low-light periods around dawn and dusk.

A key strength of this model is its 138.00 m/1000m field of view, which helps when scanning woodland edges, following birds in flight, or observing moving game across open terrain. The 18.00 mm eye relief supports comfortable viewing with or without glasses, and the +/-3 diopter adjustment lets the binocular be tuned to the user’s eyesight. The Roof - Schmidt/Pechan prism design keeps the body slim and easy to pack, while central focusing allows quick adjustment as viewing distances change.

In the field, the mechanical layout is just as important as the optics. The binoculars are waterproof and fogproof, with nitrogen filling to resist internal condensation during temperature changes. A close focus of 2.00 m also makes the Monaco ED 8x32 useful for nearby subjects such as insects, plants, or detail-rich observation on the trail. Altogether, this model suits hiking, birdwatching, travel, and general hunting optics use where low weight, a wide view, and dependable weather resistance matter more than maximum aperture.

About Levenhuk

Levenhuk began operations in 2002, initially focusing on markets outside the United States. The company describes itself as an American manufacturer of optical instruments with headquarters in Tampa, Florida, and says its manufacturing facilities are in China. Its catalog covers a broad span of observation equipment, including binoculars, spotting scopes, telescopes, monoculars, and microscopes.

Within sport optics, Levenhuk has developed several binocular families, including Atom, Karma, Sherman, and Vegas, which shows a product range that runs from entry-level field optics to more specialized models. The company also uses technologies relevant to this binocular, such as extra-low-dispersion glass in its ED lines to reduce optical and color aberrations. Beyond conventional optics, Levenhuk’s range includes Fatum thermal scopes and Halo and Atom Digital night-vision devices, reflecting a wider focus on observation tools for outdoor, technical, and educational use.
