Levenhuk Karma PRO 16x42

• 16x magnification: brings distant subjects noticeably closer, making this model well suited to long-range observation where extra reach matters more than an ultra-wide view.
• Roof prism design: keeps the binoculars slimmer and easier to pack than a comparable Porro design, which helps when carrying them for travel, field use, or observation on the move.
• Fully multi-coated optics: improves light transmission and contrast, helping the image stay clearer and more natural in changing daylight conditions.
• Nitrogen-filled waterproof housing: protects the optics from internal fogging and wet weather, so the binoculars remain usable when temperature and humidity change quickly.
• Close focus of 2.50 m: adds flexibility by allowing the same binoculars to handle nearer subjects as well as distant viewing, which is useful for general outdoor observation.

About the Levenhuk Karma Pro Series

Levenhuk Karma PRO sits at the top end of the Karma binocular family and is aimed at users who want a compact roof-prism format without giving up the features expected from more serious field optics. The series is built around BaK-4 glass, full multi-coating, and a waterproof nitrogen-filled body, giving it a practical balance of image quality and weather resistance for outdoor use.

A defining trait of the series is its combination of portability and all-round usability. Karma PRO binoculars use roof prisms to keep the shape streamlined, while the four-element eyepiece design supports a more comfortable, controlled view. Levenhuk developed the line for travelers, outdoor enthusiasts, and professional users who need binoculars that are easy to carry yet capable in the field. Across the range, the series emphasizes a wide field of view and short close-focus distance, making these binoculars suitable for scanning landscapes, following moving subjects, and switching to nearer details without changing equipment.

About the Levenhuk Karma PRO 16x42

Levenhuk Karma PRO 16x42 is the high-magnification option in the series, built for situations where reaching distant detail matters most. Its 16x magnification gives this binocular a clear advantage for long-range observation, whether the task is studying distant terrain, watching wildlife from a fixed position, or using binoculars for astronomy-style viewing where extra image scale is useful. The 42 mm objective lenses provide a practical compromise between light gathering and manageable size, so the binocular remains more portable than larger high-power models.

The optical layout combines a roof Schmidt/Pechan prism system with fully multi-coated lenses, helping preserve contrast and color fidelity while keeping the body compact. A field of view of 63.18 m/1000m is naturally focused more on reach than broad-area scanning, which suits deliberate observation of distant subjects. The 2.60 mm exit pupil and 11.00 mm eye relief make the binocular most comfortable in good light and for users who prioritize magnification over a relaxed wide-view presentation.

In practical handling, the central focusing system allows quick adjustment, while the right-eye diopter adjustment of -3 / +3 helps fine-tune the image to the user’s eyesight. The nitrogen-filled waterproof and fogproof body supports reliable outdoor use in damp or changeable weather, and the close focus of 2.50 m adds versatility that is not always present in higher-power binoculars. At 1060.00 g, this is a substantial binocular, but that extra mass also gives it a steadier feel during careful observation.
