Kite Optics B6 2-12x50i

• 6x zoom range: The 2-12x magnification span covers fast, close woodland shots at the low end and more deliberate placement across open ground at the high end, so one riflescope can handle mixed hunting conditions.
• 50 mm objective lens: A larger front lens supports a brighter, more relaxed sight picture in poor light, which is especially useful during the first and last legal shooting minutes.
• Illuminated SFP 4i reticle: The second focal plane layout keeps the reticle visually fine at higher magnification, while red illumination helps the aiming point stand out against dark game or shaded backgrounds.
• Wide-angle HD optical system: The B6 design combines a broad field of view with good image definition, making it easier to pick up moving targets quickly and maintain awareness of the surroundings.
• Capped 1/4 MOA turrets: Low-profile capped adjustments protect the zero from accidental movement in the field and suit a hunting setup where reliability matters more than frequent dialing.

About the Kite Optics B6 Series

The Kite Optics B6 series is a hunting riflescope family built around a practical idea: give hunters a versatile 6x zoom system, a 30 mm tube, and an illuminated reticle without moving into the more specialized long-range or premium-feature tiers in the brand’s lineup. Within Kite Optics’ hunting scope range, the B6 sits alongside the K4, K6, and B6 LR families, with a clear focus on general-purpose field use rather than turret-driven precision shooting.

The series includes the 1-6x24i and 2-12x50i, and both use the 4i reticle in the second focal plane. That configuration suits hunters who want a familiar reticle appearance throughout the zoom range and a clean aiming picture at higher magnification. Kite Optics describes the B6 as using a wide-angle HD optical system, and the series is also nitrogen-filled and rated IPX7 waterproof, which reflects a design aimed at dependable use in wet, cold, and changeable weather. With 90% light transmission and straightforward controls, the B6 line is positioned as an all-round hunting riflescope series for stalking, high-seat hunting, and mixed terrain where one optic needs to cover both short and medium distances.

About the Kite Optics B6 2-12x50i

The Kite Optics B6 2-12x50i is the more low-light-oriented model in the B6 family, combining a 2-12x magnification range with a 50 mm objective lens for hunters who need one riflescope to cover varied distances and changing light. At 2x, it offers a broad view for quick target acquisition at shorter ranges or in tighter cover. At 12x, it gives enough image scale for more careful shot placement across fields, rides, and open edges. The 19.80 to 3.70 m/100m field of view supports that dual role by staying useful at both ends of the zoom range.

The 4i reticle sits in the second focal plane, so its apparent size remains constant as magnification changes. In practice, that keeps the reticle easy to read at low power and visually precise at higher power. Red illumination helps the central aiming point stay visible against dark animals or cluttered backgrounds without overpowering the sight picture. With a fixed 100 m parallax setting, the scope stays simple and fast to operate, which suits typical hunting distances.

Mechanically, this model is configured for dependable field use rather than constant adjustment. The capped turrets protect the settings from knocks and unintentional movement, while the 1/4 MOA click value still allows precise zeroing. A 95 mm eye relief gives a comfortable and forgiving shooting position, and the nitrogen-filled, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof construction supports reliable use in poor weather and rough transport. The fully multicoated optics and 90% light transmission help maintain contrast and image brightness when legal shooting time is limited.

About Kite Optics

Kite Optics is a Belgian family-owned company that has developed high-precision nature-observation optics since 1992. Headquartered in Jabbeke, Belgium, the company works across binoculars, spotting scopes, riflescopes, and red-dot sights, with a product range that includes both stabilized and traditional optics. That background is relevant to its hunting optics, because the brand’s design approach is rooted in practical field observation, image quality, and ease of use rather than purely tactical styling.

Within riflescopes, Kite Optics organizes its hunting range into families such as K4, K6, B6, and B6 LR, each aimed at a different balance of features and application. The company is also known for technologies such as APC automatic illumination in other scope lines, while its broader reputation in sporting optics has been built on compact mechanical design and dependable field performance. For the B6 series, that translates into a straightforward hunting riflescope with Japanese manufacture, useful zoom range, and a clear emphasis on practical all-round use.
