Hikmicro Stellar SQ50L 3.0

• 640x512 thermal sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch: delivers a detailed thermal image that helps separate animals, background and terrain features more clearly, especially when scanning at longer distances or identifying heat signatures in cluttered conditions.
• NETD 15.00 mK sensitivity: improves the scope’s ability to show small temperature differences, which matters in rain, fog, high humidity and low-contrast scenes where weaker thermal devices can lose detail.
• Built-in 1000.00 m laser rangefinder with ballistic software: combines distance measurement and hold solution support in one riflescope, reducing guesswork and speeding up shot preparation in the field.
• Traditional 30 mm riflescope form: fits standard 30 mm rings and keeps familiar handling, mounting height and shooting position, making the move from daytime hunting optics to thermal imaging more straightforward.
• 2560x2560 OLED display with onboard recording: gives a sharp viewing image inside the scope while also allowing image capture and video recording for reviewing shot placement, animal behavior or field observations later.

About the Hikmicro Stellar Series

The Hikmicro Stellar series is a family of thermal hunting optics built around a traditional riflescope-style layout rather than a compact digital housing. That design choice is central to the series: it allows the scope to mount in standard 30 mm rings and keeps the handling, cheek weld and overall rifle balance familiar for hunters who prefer a classic scope profile. Within Hikmicro’s thermal scope range, Stellar sits as a dedicated riflescope line for field use, combining thermal imaging with the ergonomics of a conventional hunting optic.

The series uses uncooled focal-plane-array thermal sensors and supports practical field features such as video recording, snapshot capture, multiple reticle profiles and zeroing profiles. It also offers 5 reticle groups, 4 reticle colors and 10 reticle types, giving users flexibility to match the display to different backgrounds, quarry and shooting styles. The STELLAR family includes models such as the SH35, SH50, SQ35 and SQ50, and it is intended primarily for hunting, where thermal detection, fast target acquisition and familiar rifle integration matter more than a radically different digital form factor.

About the Hikmicro Stellar SQ50L 3.0

The Hikmicro Stellar SQ50L 3.0 is a thermal LRF riflescope built for hunters who want long detection capability, a conventional scope shape and integrated ranging in one unit. Its 3.60 x to 26.60 x magnification range gives it a useful balance between observation and shot placement: the lower end is suitable for scanning and locating heat sources, while the higher digital magnification helps when checking detail or refining aiming at longer distances. Paired with a 50.00 mm F 1.0 objective lens and a 2600.00 m detection range, the scope is designed for open-field and woodland use where early detection is important.

At the core is a 640x512 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with 12.00 μm pixel pitch, 15.00 mK NETD and a 50.00 Hz refresh rate. In practice, that means a smoother image when tracking moving animals and better separation of subtle heat differences when weather or background conditions are less than ideal. The 2560x2560 OLED display provides a high-resolution viewing image inside the eyepiece, while the 45.00 mm eye relief supports comfortable shooting on rifles with meaningful recoil.

The SQ50L 3.0 also stands out for its built-in 1000.00 m laser rangefinder with +/- 1 m accuracy and ballistic software, which helps the shooter confirm distance and apply a more informed aiming solution without moving to a separate device. With 10 reticles, onboard image capture and video recording, WiFi connectivity, an aluminium housing, and a 9.00 h battery life from an 18650 power system, it is configured as a serious hunting thermal scope for extended sessions in demanding weather.

About Hikmicro

Hikmicro was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Hangzhou, China. The company focuses on thermal imaging, while also working with visible-light imaging, ultrasonic technology, electromagnetic technology and radar. In the outdoor optics segment, Hikmicro has built a broad portfolio that includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal clip-ons, digital day-and-night scopes and multispectrum binoculars.

Its product families are organized by application, with lines such as STELLAR and THUNDER for thermal scopes, ALPEX for digital day-and-night vision scopes, HABROK for multispectrum binoculars, and LYNX, FALCON and CONDOR for thermal monoculars. Hikmicro’s outdoor development has included the release of 12 μm thermal detectors in multiple resolutions in 2020, a specification that remains important in compact, high-detail thermal hunting optics. That background makes the brand especially relevant in categories where sensor performance, image processing and practical field integration matter most.
