HI VIZ LiteWave Front Sight, H&K 45, P30, P2000, VP9, VP40,

• LiteWave exoskeleton design: The diagonal protective housing exposes more of the fiber to ambient light while shielding it from knocks and holster wear, giving a brighter front reference without making the sight fragile.
• Interchangeable LitePipes: The sight accepts replaceable green, red, and white LitePipes, so the shooter can tune the front-sight color to range lighting, target contrast, or personal preference.
• Factory-height compatibility: This front sight is built to work with the factory rear sight height, which helps preserve a familiar sight picture and simplifies upgrades on compatible H&K pistols.
• All-steel construction: Steel gives the sight the rigidity and wear resistance needed for regular carry, training, and repeated holster use, making it a practical choice for a working handgun.
• Fast front-sight acquisition: The bright fiber-optic dot naturally draws the eye to the front blade, helping the shooter pick up the sight faster for defensive drills, range work, and daylight field use.

About the Hi Viz LITEWAVE Series

Hi Viz LITEWAVE is a fiber-optic sight family introduced in November 2014 and built around a simple idea: make the front sight easier to see in real shooting conditions without giving up durability. The series uses LitePipe light-gathering inserts that collect ambient light to create a bright aiming reference, which is especially useful for competition, recreational shooting, training, hunting, and general daytime use. A defining feature of the line is the diagonal-wave exoskeleton, which leaves more of the LitePipe exposed to light while also protecting it from impact and abrasion.

Across the series, HIVIZ offers front and rear sight configurations for handguns as well as rifle-sight variants, giving shooters a consistent sight concept across different firearms. Many LITEWAVE models use interchangeable LitePipes, allowing quick color changes to suit background contrast or shooter preference. The design also stays holster-friendly, so these sights are not limited to bench use. In practice, the LITEWAVE series sits as a practical upgrade for shooters who want a brighter, more visible iron-sight picture than standard black factory sights, while keeping a robust steel format suitable for regular range and field use.

About the HI VIZ LiteWave Front Sight, H&K 45, P30, P2000, VP9, VP40,

The HI VIZ LiteWave Front Sight HKLW01 is a dedicated fiber-optic front sight for compatible H&K pistols including the HK45, P30, P30L, P2000, P2000 SK, HK45C, VP9, and VP40. As a front-sight-only upgrade, it is aimed at shooters who want a more visible aiming point while keeping the familiar handling and profile of the original pistol. The bright fiber insert helps the eye settle on the front blade more quickly than a plain black sight, which is useful for faster sight alignment during range drills, practical shooting, and general carry-oriented practice.

The sight uses HIVIZ interchangeable LitePipes in green, red, and white, so the shooter can choose the color that stands out best against the target and lighting conditions. That flexibility matters because indoor ranges, bright outdoor bays, and darker backgrounds do not all favor the same sight color. The 0.090 LitePipe diameter gives a clear, easy-to-pick-up dot without turning the front blade into an oversized visual block.

Its all-steel construction and fixed design make it well suited to hard use, with the strength needed for repeated draws and routine handling. The 0.160 tall blade is factory-height compatible with the factory rear sight, which helps maintain the intended sight relationship instead of forcing a complete sight-system change. For shooters who want a simple visibility upgrade on an H&K handgun, this model focuses on what matters most: a brighter front sight, durable construction, and straightforward compatibility.

About HiViz

HiViz began in 1996 with a single shooting-related product and grew into a specialist maker of sights and accessories for handguns, shotguns, and rifles. Based in Laramie, Wyoming, United States, the company is known for building highly visible aiming systems that center on fiber-optic and tritium technologies. Its product range includes fiber-optic sights, tritium sights, recoil pads, and related shooting accessories.

A key part of the brand’s identity is the use of removable and reusable LitePipes, which let shooters replace worn elements or change sight color without replacing the entire sight. HiViz has expanded that concept across several sight families, including TriViz, CompSight, and the LiteWave line with its protective exoskeleton and integral LitePipe locking system. In practical terms, HiViz has built its reputation around making iron sights easier to see, faster to align, and durable enough for regular field and range use.
