Hawke Eyepiece Flip-Up Covers, Size 4

• Flip-up lens protection: Shields the eyepiece from dust, rain, fingerprints, and knocks when the riflescope is not in use, helping keep the ocular lens clear and ready for a fast sight picture.
• Size 4 fitment: Built as a dedicated size within the Hawke cover range, making it easier to match the cover to compatible ocular housings for a secure and tidy installation.
• Aluminium construction: The metal body offers better durability than basic plastic caps, so it stands up well to repeated opening and closing in field use.
• Adjustable opening position: The cover can be set to the preferred angle, allowing it to stay out of the line of sight and reducing distraction when shooting from different positions.
• Low-profile black finish: The understated exterior suits hunting optics and tactical optics alike while avoiding unnecessary glare or visual bulk on the scope.

About the Hawke Accesories Series

Hawke Accesories is the support range that complements the brand’s sporting optics with practical add-ons for day-to-day field use. The series includes scope covers, sunshades, side wheels, digiscoping adapters, tripods, and binocular harness packs, showing that the range is designed not around one optic type alone, but around the broader needs of shooters and outdoor users. Within that lineup, Hawke offers flip-up covers in different sizes for riflescope objectives and oculars, giving users a more tailored fit than a one-size solution.

The series is aimed at owners who want to protect their optics, improve handling, or expand how their equipment is used without changing the core optic itself. That makes it relevant for hunting riflescopes, target setups, spotting scopes, and observation gear alike. Across the range, the design approach is straightforward: accessories are made to be functional, easy to fit, and compatible with selected Hawke products. In practice, the Hawke accessories family serves as the finishing layer around an optic system, helping with protection, transport, mounting convenience, and field usability.

About the Hawke Eyepiece Flip-Up Covers, Size 4

Hawke Eyepiece Flip-Up Covers, Size 4 is a riflescope accessory made to protect the ocular lens while keeping the scope immediately usable. Unlike a loose cap that has to be removed and stored before shooting, a flip-up eyepiece cover stays attached to the scope and opens quickly when it is time to take a shot. That makes it especially useful on hunting rifles and working field rifles, where lenses are exposed to dirt, drizzle, brush, and constant handling.

The cover uses a metal aluminium body, which gives it a more solid feel and better resistance to wear than simpler flexible caps. Its 50.00 g weight keeps the accessory light enough not to upset the balance of the optic, while still providing a firm protective shell over the eyepiece. The hinged design also helps maintain a cleaner ocular lens, which matters because smudges and debris on the eyepiece can slow target acquisition and reduce image clarity at the moment the scope is raised.

As a Size 4 model, it is intended for compatible eyepiece dimensions within the Hawke system, giving a neater fit than a generic universal cover. The black finish keeps the appearance discreet and consistent with most riflescope bodies. For shooters who want simple lens protection without adding much bulk, this cover provides a practical way to keep the eyepiece protected between shots, during transport, and while moving through rough ground.

About Hawke

Hawke is a sporting optics manufacturer headquartered in the United Kingdom. The company focuses on optics for field sports and shooting, producing riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, and laser rangefinders. Its riflescope lineup includes the Frontier, Sidewinder, Endurance, Airmax, and Vantage ranges, covering everything from general hunting use to more specialised airgun and long-range applications.

Across its catalog, Hawke is known for offering optics tailored to specific shooting disciplines rather than taking a one-pattern-fits-all approach. The company also produces scopes for crossbows, shotguns, and airguns, which reflects a broad understanding of different recoil levels, trajectories, and sighting needs. In riflescopes, Hawke offers both first-focal-plane and second-focal-plane systems, and its Frontier riflescopes use multi-coated optics together with a patented zero-shift anti-recoil reticle gimbal. That combination of category breadth and application-specific design has made Hawke a well-established name in sporting optics.
