Explore Scientific 52° LER Eyepiece 20mm Ar

1. Long Eye Relief (LER): This eyepiece is engineered with a generous eye relief, making it exceptionally comfortable for extended observation sessions, especially for those who wear eyeglasses. It allows the viewer to see the entire 52° apparent field of view without having to press their eye too close to the lens.

2. Argon Purged: The internal optical elements are purged with inert argon gas. This critical manufacturing step prevents moisture, dust, and fungi from entering the eyepiece, ensuring that the optics remain clear and precisely aligned over many years of use, even in varying environmental conditions.

3. Fully Multi-Coated Optics: Every air-to-glass surface features full multi-coatings. This advanced coating technology maximizes light transmission through the eyepiece while significantly reducing distracting reflections and ghosting, resulting in brighter, sharper, and higher-contrast images of celestial objects.

4. Robust Construction: Built with a focus on durability and longevity, the eyepiece features a sturdy metal housing and a comfortable rubber grip. The robust design protects the precision optics from impacts and ensures reliable performance night after night, making it a dependable accessory for any astronomer.
