Dörr Micro LED Cap Light CL-5

• Hands-free clip-on design: The compact CL-5 clips securely to a cap brim, hat or beanie, so light follows your line of sight while both hands stay free for camp tasks, walking, fishing or gear handling.
• Five LED output: The 5-LED layout gives a broad, practical pool of light for close-range work, making it easier to read, sort equipment or move around in low light without carrying a torch.
• Ultra-light 11 g body: With very little weight on the brim, the light is comfortable for extended wear and easy to keep in a pocket, pack or glove compartment as a backup light.
• Compact 43.00 mm format: Its small footprint makes it easy to store and quick to attach when needed, which suits everyday carry as well as occasional outdoor use.
• Ready-to-use power supply: The light ships with batteries included, so it can be put straight into service for travel, camping or emergency use without extra preparation.

About the Dorr Flashlights Series

Dorr Flashlights sit within the brand’s broader Leuchten lighting range and cover both general-purpose outdoor lighting and more task-specific models. Across the series, DÖRR includes compact lights for everyday use as well as zoom torches intended for home, workshop, vehicle and camping duties. The range also extends into hunting-oriented models, including versions with white, red and green light for applications where preserving night vision or reducing disturbance matters.

A defining trait of the series is its practical approach. Rather than focusing on one format alone, Dorr Flashlights include handheld lights, zoom designs and wearable lighting solutions built around straightforward operation and portability. In use, that means the series is aimed at people who need reliable light for routine outdoor tasks, travel, field use and general preparedness. The emphasis is on simple controls, compact dimensions and purpose-led designs that match the job, whether that means a torch with adjustable beam focus or a small clip light that keeps both hands free.

About the Dörr Micro LED Cap Light CL-5

The Dörr Micro LED Cap Light CL-5 is a compact clip-on light designed for situations where a conventional flashlight is less convenient. Instead of occupying a hand, it attaches to the brim of a cap, hat or beanie and places the beam where the wearer is already looking. That makes it especially useful for close work around camp, evening walks, fishing, hunting support tasks, jogging or simple everyday jobs where both hands need to stay available.

Its 5 LEDs provide practical short-range illumination for reading, sorting equipment, checking pockets or moving through dark areas with better awareness. The body measures only 43.00 mm in length, 30.00 mm in width and weighs 11.00 g, so it adds very little bulk to headwear and is easy to carry as a backup light. The compact format also makes it suitable for keeping in a jacket pocket, backpack or vehicle.

The CL-5 uses an intensity switch and offers adjustable intensity, which helps tailor output to the task at hand, whether the goal is preserving battery power for routine use or getting more light for immediate close-range visibility. Its simple LED-based design favors quick deployment and uncomplicated handling. For users who want a lightweight hands-free flashlight for occasional outdoor use and everyday low-light tasks, this model focuses on portability, ease of attachment and immediate practicality.

About Dorr

Dörr GmbH was founded in 1973 and is based in Neu-Ulm, Bavaria, Germany. The company works internationally in importing and exporting and offers products under its own DÖRR brand alongside selected products from other brands. Within its own range, Dörr covers outdoor, photo and optical equipment with a practical focus on field use and portability.

In sport optics, the company’s range includes binoculars, spotting scopes and telescopes, and it also markets optical products under the Danubia name. That background is relevant to compact lighting products such as the CL-5, because the brand’s catalogue is built around accessories intended for outdoor observation, travel, hunting and general use in the field. The result is a product line that tends to prioritize straightforward function, compact dimensions and easy handling over unnecessary complexity.
