Dorr Flex Bowl FB-2830

• Flexible leg design: The bendable legs let the tripod wrap around branches, rails, and other uneven supports, giving a stable camera position where a conventional tabletop tripod cannot stand securely.
• Compact tabletop format: With a folded height of 290.00 mm and a weight of just 270.00 g, it is easy to carry in a small bag and practical for travel, casual photography, and quick setup on the move.
• 3 kg load capacity: The tripod supports cameras or accessories up to 3000.00 g, which gives it enough reserve for many compact cameras, small system cameras, and similar gear without feeling underbuilt.
• Ball head with 1/4 inch thread: The integrated ball head makes it easier to switch between horizontal and vertical framing, while the standard camera thread keeps it compatible with a wide range of photo equipment.
• Rubber feet: The rubber foot design improves grip on smooth indoor surfaces and helps reduce slipping when the tripod is used on tables, rocks, or other hard supports.

About the Dorr Tripod Series

The Dorr Tripod series covers a broad range of support solutions, from tabletop and travel tripods to larger photo, video, and professional models. Within the lineup, the series is aimed at users who need practical support options for different shooting styles rather than one fixed format. Some models are built for lightweight cameras and smartphones, while others are intended for heavier imaging equipment or even use with spotting scopes.

Across the range, Dorr varies the head design, mounting thread, material, and leg-lock construction to suit different applications. That means the series includes compact models for everyday carry as well as larger tripods designed for more stable long-session use. Aluminium and carbon-fibre options appear in the wider family, alongside full-size tripods, monopods, and small tabletop supports. This makes the series relevant to photographers who need a simple portable stand, content creators working in tight spaces, and outdoor users looking for a support that is easy to transport and quick to position.

About the Dorr Flex Bowl FB-2830

The Dorr Flex Bowl FB-2830 is a compact tabletop tripod designed for situations where a normal rigid tripod is inconvenient or impossible to place. Its defining feature is the flexible plastic legs, which can be positioned around uneven surfaces or wrapped around suitable objects in the field. In practice, that makes it useful for travel photography, casual video capture, nature observation, and low-angle shooting where a stable support point may be limited.

At 270.00 g with a folded height of 290.00 mm, the FB-2830 is easy to pack and quick to deploy. The 3-section legs keep the design compact for transport, while the rubber feet help maintain grip on tables, stone, wood, and other hard surfaces. Dorr also equips this model with a large aluminium ball head and a standard 1/4 inch camera thread, which gives the user straightforward angle adjustment for both portrait and landscape framing. The product page also describes the tripod as adjustable to two heights, adding flexibility for composition without making the design mechanically complex.

With a load capacity of 3000.00 g, the Flex Bowl FB-2830 offers useful support for many lightweight camera setups. It is a simple, portable support intended for users who value adaptability and compactness over the height and adjustment range of a full-size tripod.
