Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24x50

• 6-24x magnification range: Covers precise zeroing, load development and longer-range target work in one scope, giving enough low-end magnification for setup and enough top-end detail for careful shot placement.
• First focal plane DLT FFP MIL reticle: The reticle scales with magnification, so holdover and ranging marks stay true throughout the zoom range, which is useful when shooting at changing distances without returning to one fixed power.
• Locking tactical turrets: Exposed turrets with a 0.1 mil style adjustment system and locking function help prevent accidental movement during transport while still allowing fast dialing on the firing line or in the field.
• Side focus from 10 yards to infinity: The broad parallax range makes the scope practical for both airgun use and centerfire shooting, while helping maintain a sharper target image and more consistent aiming at different distances.
• 30 mm nitrogen-filled waterproof construction: The one-piece tube format supports adjustment travel and durability, while the waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build is better suited to outdoor use in changing weather.

About the Discovery Optics VT-T Series

The Discovery Optics VT-T series is a family of tactical riflescopes built around practical long-range use, with models offered in 3-18x50, 4-16x50, 4.5-18x44 and 6-24x50 formats. The series is aimed at shooters who need repeatable dialing and reticle-based holds, including users of firearms, powerful airguns and hunting rifles set up for extended-distance work. Across the range, VT-T models share a 30 mm tube, 0.1 mil adjustments and a first focal plane DLT MIL reticle, so the reticle’s subtensions remain consistent as magnification changes.

The design philosophy of the series focuses on combining tactical handling with broad application. Side-focus parallax adjustment from 10 yards makes the VT-T line suitable for short-range precision as well as longer shots, while fully multi-coated optics are intended to preserve contrast and usable image brightness across the zoom range. Discovery also equips the series with its TES (Torus Erector Support) system, which is designed to support the erector assembly under recoil. Nitrogen filling, together with waterproof and fogproof construction, gives the VT-T series a field-oriented mechanical layout rather than a bench-only character.

About the Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24x50

The Discovery Optics VT-T 6-24x50 is the highest-magnification model in the VT-T line, built for shooters who want more target detail for load testing, small targets and longer-distance correction work. Its 6-24x zoom range gives a useful spread between observation and precision aiming, while the 50 mm objective lens supports a brighter, easier sight picture than smaller front lenses when light begins to fade. With a field of view from 6.50 m/100m to 1.60 m/100m, the scope shifts from broader target acquisition at low power to a more concentrated view for fine aiming at high power.

The DLT FFP MIL reticle is central to how this model is used. Because it sits in the first focal plane, hold points and ranging references remain proportionally correct throughout the magnification range, which is especially useful when there is no time to return to one calibrated power setting. The reticle is non-illuminated, keeping the layout straightforward for daylight precision shooting. The tactical locking turrets are intended for active dialing, with 17.40 mrad / 60 MOA of elevation and windage adjustment and CCW rotation, while the multi-turn layout gives enough travel for more demanding setups.

Side-focus parallax adjustment from 10 yards to infinity broadens the scope’s role considerably. It allows more precise image focus and helps reduce aiming error at both short and long distances, which is valuable for air rifles, rimfires and centerfire rifles alike. A 30 mm tube, fully multicoated lenses, 89.00-102.00 mm eye relief and a nitrogen-filled waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build round out a scope designed for regular field use rather than occasional range sessions.

About Discovery Optics

Discovery Optics, presented by the company as DISCOVERYOPT, states that it was established in 2009 and lists its main operations in Bao'an, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The company focuses on optics for shooting and hunting, with a catalogue that includes riflescopes, other electro-optical sighting devices and thermal imaging products for hunting use. Within its riflescope range, Discovery offers both first-focal-plane and second-focal-plane reticle designs, covering different shooting styles from general hunting to more dial-focused precision work.

Its scope portfolio includes series such as XED, ED, LHD and HD, showing a product range that spans conventional optical sights as well as more specialized solutions. In this category, the brand is particularly associated with practical feature sets for shooters who want modern reticle layouts, tactical-style adjustments and broad compatibility with both firearms and powerful airguns.
