Delta Optical Titanium 2.5-10x50 HD Product description

  • 2.5-10x magnification range: covers the short-to-medium distances common in driven hunts, woodland stalking and general-purpose hunting, while still giving enough top-end magnification for more deliberate shot placement in open ground.
  • 50 mm objective with HD-series light transmission: the larger front lens and the Titanium series’ reported transmission of about 92% help maintain a brighter sight picture at dawn, dusk and in shaded woodland.
  • Illuminated SFP reticle: the red illuminated aiming point stands out against dark game or cluttered backgrounds, while the second focal plane layout keeps the reticle appearance consistent across the zoom range.
  • Capped 1/4 MOA turrets: protected adjustment caps reduce the chance of accidental movement during transport or field carry, making the scope well suited to hunting rifles that are expected to hold zero without constant turret handling.
  • Nitrogen-filled, waterproof and shockproof build: the sealed 30 mm tube resists internal fogging, weather exposure and recoil, so the scope remains dependable across changing temperatures and demanding hunting use.

About the Delta Optical Titanium Series

Delta Optical Titanium is a hunting-oriented riflescope series positioned as a premium all-round line within the company’s sporting optics range. The series includes HD models and multiple reticle variants such as 4A S and 2D, giving hunters a choice between more traditional aiming layouts and alternatives suited to different styles of shooting. Delta Optical also states that Titanium riflescopes deliver approximately 92% light transmission, which places the emphasis on practical low-light performance rather than oversized dimensions alone.

The design philosophy of the Titanium line combines strong optical efficiency with field durability. Delta Optical describes these scopes as nitrogen-filled and waterproof, and states that they were tested for optical transmission and mechanical durability by the German DEVA institute. The series is intended primarily for hunting, although some variants are also positioned for sport shooting. Across the range, the focus is on clear image quality, dependable mechanics and reticle options that remain easy to use under real field conditions, whether the rifle is carried through rough weather, used from a hide at last light or taken into more open terrain where a broader magnification range is useful.

About the Delta Optical Titanium 2.5-10x50 HD

Delta Optical Titanium 2.5-10x50 HD is built as a versatile hunting riflescope for shooters who want one optic to cover several common scenarios. Its 2.5-10x magnification range gives a useful balance between speed and precision: the lower end remains practical for closer encounters and moving game, while 10x provides enough image scale for more careful aiming at longer distances. The 50 mm objective lens supports good image brightness without making the scope excessively large for a general-purpose hunting rifle.

This model uses a second focal plane reticle with red illumination, a layout that suits hunters who prefer a reticle that keeps the same apparent size throughout the zoom range. In practice, that makes the sight picture familiar and uncluttered whether the scope is set low for fast shots or turned up for more exact placement. Because the illumination is not intended for bright daylight use, it is especially relevant in dim woodland, at dawn and at dusk, where the glowing aiming point is easier to pick up against dark targets.

The mechanical setup also reflects its hunting role. Capped turrets with 1/4 MOA clicks protect the adjustments from accidental movement, while the absence of parallax adjustment keeps operation simple and fast in the field. A 30 mm tube, nitrogen filling, waterproof construction and shock resistance support reliable use in poor weather and on rifles with substantial recoil. At 700 g and 370 mm long, it remains a full-size scope with enough optical presence for low-light hunting, yet still practical for everyday carry on a stalking or all-round hunting rifle.

About Delta Optical

Delta Optical traces its beginnings to 1989, when it opened an optics shop for enthusiasts. The company is a Polish manufacturer headquartered in Nowe Osiny, near Mińsk Mazowiecki, and it serves users of optical equipment across astronomy, biology, hunting and shooting. That broad background helps explain why its product range covers both observation optics and aiming optics rather than focusing on only one niche.

In riflescopes, Delta Optical’s lines include Titanium, Stryker and Hornet. The company states that its sporting scopes use proprietary reticles and anti-reflective coatings, showing a focus on practical optical performance and application-specific design. Within that lineup, the Titanium series represents the hunting side of the range, while Stryker is described as a precision line for medium- and long-range target shooting.

Hi, I was wondering if you could advise on which is the superior scope for UK deer hunting between a Delta Titanium HD 2.5-10x50 and the equivalent Vortex Viper. Particularly glass quality.

by Mr Patrick

Dear Patrick,

thank you for contacting us.

Please note that the Titanium 2.5-10x50 HD is a classic European hunting riflescope with very good optical quality for its price class, while in regards to a Vortex Viper riflescope we would exactly need to know as to which series and model you are referring to. However, in general, Vortex Viper riflescopes are of extremely high quality but they are predominantly desired by the American hunters due to a more tactical style of reticles and their holdover lines.

Should you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us again at [email protected]

Kind Regards,
