Crimson Trace LG-Hellcat Laser Sight

• Front Instinctive Activation: the laser is designed to switch on with a normal firing grip, so the aiming reference appears without changing hand position or adding extra steps under stress.
• Green laser for rapid visibility: a green aiming beam is easier to pick up quickly in many lighting conditions, helping with faster sight alignment on a compact defensive pistol.
• Windage and elevation adjustment: the laser can be zeroed to the pistol and ammunition setup, which is important for maintaining practical point-of-impact consistency at defensive handgun distances.
• Compact aluminum construction: the aluminum housing adds durability for daily carry use while keeping the unit suited to the slim profile of the Springfield Armory Hellcat platform.
• Model-specific fit: the LG-Hellcat is built for the Hellcat pistol, giving a more integrated installation and handling feel than a generic rail-mounted laser.

About the Laserguard Series

Crimson Trace Laserguard models are compact, firearm-specific laser sights made for shooters who want a visible aiming aid without adding unnecessary bulk. In the Crimson Trace lineup, the series sits as a practical option for concealed-carry and defensive handguns, with a design that follows the shape of the trigger guard and frame rather than relying on a larger universal housing. That approach helps preserve holster compatibility on many pistol platforms and keeps handling familiar.

A defining feature of the series is Instinctive Activation, which places the control where it can be engaged as part of a normal firing grip. For defensive use, that matters because it reduces the need to search for a switch during a hurried presentation. Laserguard units are also built around model-specific fitment, straightforward zeroing, and a low-profile form that suits compact and subcompact pistols. Within the family, users can find red or green laser variants depending on model, allowing them to choose between compact efficiency and enhanced beam visibility in varied lighting conditions.

About the Crimson Trace LG-Hellcat Laser Sight

The Crimson Trace LG-Hellcat Laser Sight is configured specifically for the Springfield Armory Hellcat, a pistol widely chosen for concealed carry and personal defense. Its main advantage is that it adds a visible aiming reference without changing the compact character of the handgun. Because the unit is shaped for this platform, it feels more integrated than a general-purpose accessory and remains well suited to a pistol that is meant to be carried often and drawn quickly.

This version uses a green laser, which is often easier to acquire rapidly than a red beam in many real-world lighting conditions. That can be useful when the shooter needs a fast visual reference during close-range defensive shooting, unconventional shooting positions, or low-light work where iron sights may be slower to index. The front Instinctive Activation system is equally important in practice: the laser is intended to activate as the pistol is gripped normally, so the user does not have to break concentration to find a secondary control.

The housing is made from aluminium, giving the sight a more durable structure for routine carry and handling. Windage and elevation adjustment allow the laser to be aligned to the pistol, which is essential for practical accuracy rather than treating the beam as a generic point of reference. An on/off switch is also present, giving the shooter control over when the laser is used for training, carry, or range work.

About Crimson Trace

Crimson Trace was established in 1994 and built its reputation around firearm-mounted aiming and illumination products. The company is especially known for laser sights and firearm-mounted lights, with product families such as Lasergrips, Laserguard, Rail Master, and Lightguard covering a wide range of handguns and long guns. A key part of the brand's identity is Instinctive Activation, a control concept that places pressure pads where they can be engaged as part of a normal shooting grip rather than as a separate action.

Beyond laser sights, Crimson Trace also offers riflescopes and rangefinders, showing a broader focus on shooting optics and field equipment. The company operates a facility in Columbia, Missouri, United States, and its product range reflects a long emphasis on practical sighting systems designed for defensive, sporting, and field use.
