Celestron C90 Mak

1. Maksutov-Cassegrain Optical Design: The C90 Mak utilizes a Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system, characterized by its compact form factor and long focal length. This advanced design significantly reduces optical aberrations, delivering exceptionally sharp and high-contrast images with minimal chromatic aberration, making it superb for both celestial and terrestrial observation.

2. 90mm Aperture: With a substantial 90mm objective lens, this spotting scope gathers ample light to produce bright and detailed views, even in challenging low-light conditions. This enhanced light-gathering capability allows for crisp, clear observations of distant subjects, whether you're birding at dawn or stargazing at dusk.

3. Fully Multi-Coated Optics: All optical surfaces are fully multi-coated to maximize light transmission through the scope. This reduces light loss due to reflection, resulting in brighter images with superior color fidelity and contrast, providing a more vivid and immersive viewing experience.

4. Versatile Compatibility: Designed for versatility, the C90 Mak includes an integrated 45-degree erect image diagonal for comfortable viewing. It features a standard 1.25" visual back, allowing compatibility with a wide range of astronomical and terrestrial eyepieces for varied magnifications. Additionally, its built-in T-adapter connects directly to your DSLR camera (with appropriate T-ring, sold separately) for effortless digiscoping.

ABOUT THE CELESTRON C90 MAK

The Celestron C90 Mak spotting scope stands apart in its category due to its distinguished Maksutov-Cassegrain optical design, a sophisticated system typically found in astronomical telescopes. This unique engineering provides powerful magnification, exceptional sharpness, and high contrast in a remarkably compact and portable body, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a premium observation experience without the bulk. Perfect for both dedicated terrestrial observation and casual astronomy, the C90 Mak excels at detailed birdwatching, nature viewing, and even observing lunar craters and planetary features. Its 90mm aperture works diligently to gather maximum light, while fully multi-coated optics ensure brilliant, true-to-life colors and optimal light transmission. The robust yet lightweight aluminum chassis protects the precision optics, ensuring durability for outdoor adventures. This model is a complete spotting scope system, ready for immediate use out of the box with its included eyepiece, but also offers the flexibility of accepting any standard 1.25" astronomy eyepieces for truly customized viewing versatility.
