Athlon Talos EDC

• Automatic Brightness Control: A built-in light sensor adjusts the reticle between 4 illumination settings on its own, keeping the 3 MOA red dot clearly visible in full sun without blooming in low light, so there is nothing to adjust before drawing.
• Always-On Readiness: The sight has no on/off switch and delivers up to 50,000 hours of battery life from a single CR2032 battery at the medium setting, so the dot is already illuminated the moment the pistol leaves the holster.
• RMSc Footprint: The compact RMSc footprint mounts directly to many slide-cut subcompact pistols such as the Sig Sauer P365 and Springfield Hellcat, while the included plate allows mounting on Glock MOS pistols such as the Glock 43 MOS.
• Low-Profile Composite Housing: At only 0.36 oz, the nitrogen-purged, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof sight adds almost no weight to a carry pistol and remains reliable in rain, humidity and under recoil.

ABOUT THE MODEL (ATHLON TALOS EDC 3 MOA)

The Athlon Talos EDC 3 MOA is a compact open reflex sight designed specifically for today's subcompact concealed carry pistols. Its low-profile composite housing keeps the overall size and weight to a minimum, which makes it well suited to everyday carry, where a small, snag-free optic is easier to conceal and draw.

The sight uses a 3 MOA red dot with 1× magnification. This dot size offers a practical balance between fast target acquisition at close defensive distances and enough precision for deliberate shots further out. Because the Talos EDC has unlimited eye relief, the dot can be picked up quickly at any distance from the eye, whether shooting with both arms extended or from a compressed position. The 22 × 16 mm window, combined with fully multi-coated lenses, provides a bright view with good light transmission.

The illumination system is built around simplicity. There is no power button: the sight is constantly on, and an integrated ambient light sensor automatically switches between 4 brightness settings to suit the conditions. In bright daylight the dot remains clearly visible, while in low light it dims so that it does not obscure the target. Thanks to Smart Power Management, the CR2032 battery provides up to 50,000 hours of operation at the medium setting. The battery is located on the underside of the housing, so the sight is removed from the pistol for a battery change, after which the zero should be confirmed.

Windage and elevation are adjusted via linear adjustment screws, each offering 80 MOA of total adjustment, which is ample for zeroing on a wide range of handguns. The sight mounts directly to RMSc slide cuts using the included M4×10 screws, or to Glock MOS pistols using the supplied mounting plate. The nitrogen-purged construction is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, giving the reliability expected from a pistol optic carried daily.
