About the Aimpoint Accessories Series

Aimpoint Accessories brings together the factory parts and add-ons that keep Aimpoint sights configured for specific tasks and maintained to the manufacturer’s standard. The series covers a broad range of support items across the company’s sight families, including the Comp, Micro, Acro, Duty RDS, Hunter, and 7000 series. Rather than focusing on one style of optic, the range is built around compatibility, with each accessory tailored to a defined set of sight bodies and use cases.

Within the series, users will find practical items such as lens covers, anti-reflection devices, filters, and outer rubber covers, along with small replacement parts that restore normal function after wear or damage. Some accessories fit more than one sight family, and some remain relevant for discontinued models, which makes the series useful for both current and older Aimpoint optics. The overall design approach is straightforward: factory-fit components, simple installation, and purpose-built compatibility that supports reliable use of red dot sights in hunting, sport shooting, and professional applications.

About the Aimpoint Battery Cap for PRO/ACO

The Aimpoint Battery Cap for PRO/ACO is a dedicated spare part for maintaining compatible Aimpoint red dot sights in proper working order. On optics such as the Aimpoint PRO and ACO, the battery cap does more than close the compartment. It helps keep the battery correctly retained, supports the seal around the battery housing, and protects the contact area from dirt, moisture, and handling damage. That matters in practical use because even a small worn or damaged cap can interrupt power delivery or reduce environmental protection.

This model is intended for compatible 30 mm tube Aimpoint sights produced from 2015 onward, making it a sensible replacement when the original cap has been lost, cracked, or worn through repeated battery changes. Its plastic construction keeps the part light and simple while remaining appropriate for a component that is handled regularly during maintenance. As a genuine Aimpoint accessory, it is built around the original dimensions and fit, which is important for secure closure and consistent sealing rather than improvised compatibility.

For users who rely on a red dot sight for hunting or range work, a correct replacement cap is a small but important part of keeping the optic ready. This accessory restores the battery compartment to normal function without changing the handling of the sight, and its black finish matches the understated appearance typical of Aimpoint optics and accessories.

About Aimpoint

Aimpoint AB was founded in February 1975 in Malmö, Sweden. The company specializes in red dot sights and is closely associated with the early development of the category. In 1975, Aimpoint Electronic became the world’s first commercial red dot sight, establishing the company’s long-standing focus on non-magnifying aiming systems.

Today, Aimpoint develops red dot sights for hunting, sport shooting, and professional users, with product families that range from compact Micro models to enclosed Acro sights and full-size tube-style optics. That specialization is especially relevant for accessories such as replacement caps and covers, because the company designs them around the same sight platforms and operating requirements as the optics themselves. The result is a product ecosystem centered on fit, durability, and consistent function across the Aimpoint range.
