UTG 2-7x32 Handgun Scope

• Long eye relief design: With 351.00–635.00 mm of eye relief, this scope gives handgun shooters a safer, more natural shooting position and also works well on other forward-mounted setups where extra distance from the ocular is important.
• 2-7x variable magnification: The 2.00x to 7.00x range covers close, fast shots at the low end and more deliberate aiming at longer handgun distances at the high end, making the scope more flexible than a fixed-power alternative.
• Red and green illuminated PDC reticle: Illumination helps the aiming point stand out against dark targets or shaded backgrounds, while the projectile drop compensation layout gives additional hold points for practical shooting at varied distances.
• Lockable capped turrets: The capped, locking turret setup protects zero during transport and field use, while 1/4 MOA click adjustment supports precise sight-in without exposing the controls to accidental movement.
• True Strength sealed construction: The nitrogen-filled aluminum body is waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, helping the scope stay usable through weather changes, recoil and regular range or hunting use.

About the UTG Crossbow Scopes Series

UTG Crossbow Scopes are built around aiming systems intended for trajectory compensation, with the series designed for shooters who need practical holdover references rather than a plain duplex view. In this family, UTG includes models such as the True Hunter 4X32 and OP3 1.5-6X36, both developed around crossbow use and reticles calibrated to crossbow bolt flight. That focus on trajectory-aware reticle design gives the series a clear role within the wider UTG optics catalog.

The line uses second focal plane reticles and offers red/green illumination, keeping the reticle appearance familiar and easy to pick up in changing light. The series also reflects Leapers’ practical mechanical approach, with scopes built on the True Strength platform, using a one-piece aluminum main tube and nitrogen purging for weather resistance. Within the range, reticle styles vary from the Pro 5-Step layout for 300-fps crossbows to the 130 Hunter design with ballistic and ranging references, so the series is defined less by one magnification format and more by durable construction, illuminated aiming systems and application-specific holdover design.

About the UTG 2-7x32 Handgun Scope

The UTG 2-7x32 Handgun Scope is a compact variable-power optic built for shooters who need the reach of magnification without giving up the long eye relief required on a handgun. Its 2-7x32 format makes it useful across a broad range of handgun distances: lower magnification keeps target acquisition more manageable, while the upper end gives a clearer sight picture for load testing, hunting or deliberate shooting from supported positions. The 32.00 mm objective lens and 16.00-5.00 mm exit pupil support a bright, usable image across the zoom range, while the field of view remains practical for tracking targets and maintaining awareness.

This model uses a second focal plane PDC BDC reticle with red and green illumination, giving the shooter a visible aiming point against different backgrounds and extra hold references for bullet drop. Because the reticle stays the same apparent size as magnification changes, it remains easy to see at low power and uncluttered at high power. The fixed parallax at 32 m suits the kind of distances where a handgun scope is commonly used and keeps operation simple in the field.

Mechanically, the scope is set up for dependable zero retention rather than constant dialing. Capped, zero-lockable and resettable turrets protect the adjustments from accidental movement, while the 1/4 MOA click value allows precise zeroing. The 25.4 mm tube, nitrogen filling and waterproof, fogproof, shockproof construction make it a practical choice for hunting optics or recreational handgun shooting in variable weather.

About UTG

Leapers, Inc., the company behind UTG, was founded in 1992 in Michigan and is headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, United States. The company develops and manufactures optics and accessories for hunting and shooting sports, with a catalog that includes riflescopes, scope rings, mounts and bipods. Its first product was a compact 4×28 scope, which gives the brand a long-standing connection to practical sporting optics rather than a recent expansion into the category.

Over time, Leapers broadened its manufacturing and product structure, introducing the UTG PRO line of U.S.-made products in 2009 and establishing a UTG optics research and manufacturing center in Taiwan in 2018. The company later introduced the INTEGRIX premium optics brand in 2022. Within the shooting market, UTG is known for producing functional optics and mounting solutions aimed at real field and range use, with an emphasis on durable construction and broad compatibility.
