Trijicon HD XR Front Sight – Glock Small Frames (Glock 42/43)

• Orange Photoluminescent Front Ring: The front sight's green tritium lamp is surrounded by a glowing orange outline disk that gathers ambient light, helping the dot stand out quickly in daylight and transitional lighting.
• Battery-Free Tritium Illumination: The tritium lamp stays illuminated at all times without batteries, keeping the sight usable in no-light conditions without any need to activate it beforehand.
• Thinner Sight Post for a Larger Field of View: A thinner front sight post gives a wider field of view around the target, helping with target identification, faster engagement, and spotting hits at longer distances.
• Rugged, Sapphire-Protected Construction: The lamp is sealed behind a sapphire window and housed in an aluminum cylinder with a silicone rubber cushion, protecting it from recoil, impact, and gun-cleaning solvents.

ABOUT THE HD XR SERIES

Trijicon's HD XR series builds on the company's standard HD night sights, aimed at the next level of target identification and engagement at increased distances. A thinner front sight post is the series' defining feature, giving shooters a larger field of view around the target compared to a standard-width front blade, which helps with faster engagement and spotting hits at longer range.

The HD XR series is offered both as complete front-and-rear sight sets and as standalone front sights, across a range of pistol platforms including several Glock frame sizes. This front-sight-only option lets shooters upgrade just the front sight, whether to pair it with an existing rear sight or to replace a worn or damaged front sight without purchasing a full set.

ABOUT THE MODEL (TRIJICON HD XR FRONT SIGHT – GLOCK SMALL FRAMES, GL613-C-600848)

The Trijicon HD XR Front Sight for Glock Small Frames, SKU GL613-C-600848, is a standalone front sight fitted for the Glock 42 and 43 (non-MOS small-frame models). It combines a green tritium lamp with an orange photoluminescent outline disk, which absorbs and stores ambient light to keep the dot visible during daylight and low-light transitions, not only in full darkness.

The sight uses a thinner post than a standard front sight, opening up the shooter's field of view around the target. This is intended to make it easier to track a target, confirm hits, and re-engage quickly at extended distances, which is particularly useful for shooters who need to work beyond typical close-range distances.

For durability, the tritium lamp is sealed behind a sapphire window, which acts as a beam-shaping lens while protecting the lamp from solvents commonly used to clean firearms. The lamp itself is housed in an aluminum cylinder and cushioned with silicone rubber to help it withstand recoil and repeated use. This sight is designed for the standard Glock 42/43 dovetail and is not intended for MOS (slide-milled) models. Professional installation is recommended.
