Tipton Ultra Cleaning Kit

• Complete rifle cleaning system: The kit combines rods, jags, brushes, picks and a bore guide in one case, so routine maintenance and deeper bore cleaning can be handled without assembling separate tools.
• Stainless steel cleaning rod: The 3-piece rod uses durable 17-4 PH stainless steel and a multi-bearing handle, helping the rod track more smoothly through the bore and resist bending during repeated use.
• Caliber-specific cleaning components: The included Ultra Jag and Best Bore Brush sets cover a broad range of rifle calibers, giving a closer fit in the bore for more effective patch contact and brush engagement.
• RAPID Deluxe Bore Guide Kit: By helping center the rod as it enters the action, the bore guide supports more controlled cleaning and reduces the chance of unnecessary contact with the chamber or bore throat.
• Organized hard case: A molded carry case with custom die-cut foam keeps each tool in place and leaves room for liquids, patches and other accessories, making the kit easier to store, transport and maintain.

About the Ultra Series

Tipton Ultra products sit at the more fully equipped end of the brand’s firearm maintenance range, aimed at shooters who want more than a basic field kit. The series focuses on organized, caliber-specific cleaning tools and more robust components for regular bench use, especially where consistent bore care matters for rifles. Rather than relying on generic accessories, Ultra products are built around dedicated jags, bore brushes and support tools that help match the cleaning tool to the firearm more precisely.

Across the series, the emphasis is on durability, repeatable cleaning performance and practical storage. Stainless steel rods, caliber-marked components and fitted cases reflect a design approach intended to keep tools protected and easy to identify between cleaning sessions. In use, that means less time sorting through loose accessories and a better chance of selecting the correct jag or brush for the job. For shooters maintaining hunting rifles, range rifles or general-purpose long guns, the Ultra series is designed to bring together the convenience of a kit with the control and fit expected from more specialized cleaning tools.

About the Tipton Ultra Cleaning Kit

The Tipton Ultra Cleaning Kit is built as a bench-ready rifle cleaning system for shooters who want a broad set of tools in one package rather than a minimal field kit. At the center of the kit is a 3-piece stainless steel cleaning rod with a multi-bearing handle and a .205” diameter, 40” usable length, giving it the rigidity needed for controlled passes through rifle bores while still packing into a portable case. That matters in practice because a rod that resists bending is easier to guide consistently, especially when working through fouling with tight-fitting patches or brushes.

This kit is intended for .22 Cal and larger rifles, and it stands out by combining the rod with a RAPID Deluxe Bore Guide Kit, a 13-piece Ultra Jag set and a 13-piece Best Bore Brush set. The caliber-specific jags and brushes help deliver a closer bore fit than one-size accessories, improving patch contact and brush engagement for more thorough cleaning. Tipton also includes nylon and bronze general-purpose brushes, AR-15 bolt carrier and action brushes, and polymer cleaning picks, so the kit is useful not only for bore maintenance but also for action and component cleaning where carbon tends to collect.

The molded carry case with custom die-cut foam keeps each part organized and protected, while extra room for liquids, patches and other accessories makes the kit practical for a workbench, range bag or hunting camp. The result is a comprehensive rifle cleaning kit that supports regular maintenance with better organization and more purpose-built tools than a basic all-caliber set.

About Tipton

Tipton is a firearm cleaning and maintenance brand owned by American Outdoor Brands. The brand concentrates on practical maintenance equipment such as cleaning tools, gun vises and maintenance supplies, with a product range built around the routine care of rifles and other firearms. Its lineup includes barrel-cleaning essentials such as jags and bore brushes, reflecting a clear focus on the tools shooters use most often at the bench.

Within that range, Tipton is also known for specialized products that address common cleaning issues in a more targeted way. Examples include Ultra Jags with a solvent-resistant coating intended to help prevent false copper-fouling indications from aggressive bore solvents, as well as pull-through Nope Ropes offered in multiple calibers. That combination of standard maintenance gear and problem-specific cleaning tools has made Tipton a familiar name in firearm care.
