Thompson Center Pillow Ticking Prelubricated Patches, 100 Pieces Product description

ABOUT THE THOMPSON CENTER PILLOW TICKING PRELUBRICATED PATCHES

The Thompson Center Pillow Ticking Prelubricated Patches offer a convenient and effective solution for muzzleloader enthusiasts. These patches are crafted from 100% cotton pillow ticking, renowned for its tight weave and durability, making it an excellent material for creating a gas-tight seal in the bore. Pre-lubricated for immediate use, these patches simplify the loading process and ensure consistent performance. The pre-lubrication also helps to reduce fouling and aid in bore cleaning, contributing to better accuracy and extended firearm longevity. Designed for muskets and other muzzleloading firearms, these patches are ideal for hunters and sport shooters who demand reliability and ease of use in the field. The 'pillow ticking' material has a long-standing history in muzzleloader shooting due to its inherent qualities like consistent thickness and strength, providing a superior gas seal around the projectile.

Thompson Center Arms, founded in 1965, has a rich history in designing and manufacturing firearms, particularly known for its innovative muzzleloaders and interchangeable barrel systems. The company quickly gained a reputation for producing high-quality, accurate, and reliable firearms that catered to both hunters and target shooters. Thompson Center's commitment to precision engineering and traditional craftsmanship has made it a respected name in the shooting community, with a focus on delivering products that enhance the shooting experience for various disciplines.
