The Wild Pro series is ThermTec's line of handheld thermal imaging monoculars, built for hunting, wildlife monitoring, pest control, and professional field use. The series is designed around compact, lightweight housings and ergonomic controls, so the devices remain comfortable to use during long handheld observation sessions.

Wild Pro models are built around high-sensitivity thermal sensors paired with AMOLED displays for a clear, detailed image, along with Wi-Fi connectivity for streaming to the ThermTec smartphone app, built-in photo and video recording, and rechargeable battery systems for extended outdoor use. Depending on the model, the series covers a range of detection distances and lens configurations, letting users choose the balance of field of view and magnification suited to their application.

ABOUT THE MODEL (WILD 650L PRO)

The Wild 650L Pro is a handheld thermal monocular built around a 50 mm F0.9 objective lens and a 640×512 thermal sensor, giving it a detection range of up to 2600 m. It offers 3.6× optical magnification with a 1–4× continuous digital zoom, letting the user move smoothly from a wide field of view to a closer look at a target. The 0.5″ AMOLED display (1600×1200) delivers a sharp, bright image, and the built-in laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement directly through the eyepiece. A new joystick layout and a one-handed focusing wheel make the controls easy to operate with gloves on, while an easily dis-mountable battery cover simplifies battery changes in the field.
