Tangent Theta 5-25x56 Model TT525P

• 5-25x magnification range: covers a wide span from target identification and observation at lower power to precise shot placement at extended distance, making the scope suitable for long-range tactical and precision shooting.
• First focal plane illuminated reticle: the reticle keeps its subtensions consistent throughout the zoom range, so holdovers and corrections remain accurate at any magnification, while red illumination helps the aiming point stand out in subdued light.
• Double-turn tactical elevation turret with zero stop: gives ample vertical adjustment for distance work while allowing a fast, repeatable return to the established zero after dialing for range.
• 56 mm objective with fully multicoated lenses: supports a bright, high-contrast image and helps maintain detail when shooting in poor light or against complex backgrounds.
• 34 mm main tube and 27.90 mrad adjustment range: provides the internal travel needed for modern long-range cartridges and mounting setups where substantial elevation correction is required.

About the Tangent Theta Professional Marksman Series

The Tangent Theta Professional Marksman series is built around the needs of professional marksmen and serious precision shooters who require dependable tracking, practical reticle options, and a mechanical layout suited to field use. Manufactured in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the series reflects a design approach that favors repeatable adjustments and a straightforward operating layout over unnecessary complexity. Across the lineup, Tangent Theta offers magnification classes such as 3-15x, 5-25x, and 7-35x, allowing the series to cover intermediate-range work through dedicated long-range applications.

Within the Professional Marksman family, the common themes are clear: side parallax adjustment for precise focus at varying distances, illuminated reticles for better aiming reference in difficult light, and turret systems developed for accurate dialing under pressure. Reticle choices in the series include patterns such as Gen 2 XR, Gen 2 Mildot, Gen 3 XR, and MOA-ER, reflecting the line’s emphasis on practical holds and corrections rather than purely hunting-oriented layouts. The series is aimed at users who value exact shot correction, robust construction, and a riflescope that remains predictable when conditions and distances change.

About the Tangent Theta 5-25x56 Model TT525P

The Tangent Theta 5-25x56 Model TT525P is a dedicated long-range tactical riflescope built for shooters who need one optic to cover observation, target refinement, and precise correction at extended distance. Its 5-25x magnification range gives the scope broad flexibility: lower settings are useful when scanning a wider area or settling behind the rifle quickly, while the upper end supports careful shot placement and detailed reading of distant targets. The 56.00 mm objective lens and fully multicoated optical system help preserve image brightness and contrast, which is especially useful when mirage, low light, or dark target backgrounds make aiming more demanding.

The scope uses a first focal plane reticle, an important advantage for precision shooting because reticle subtensions stay true across the entire zoom range. That means holdovers, wind calls, and ranging references remain consistent whether the shooter is working at mid or maximum magnification. Red illumination adds visibility without turning the reticle into a daytime-bright aiming point, which suits low-light and controlled-light use where a cleaner aiming reference is preferred.

Mechanically, the TT525P is configured for dialing. Its tactical turrets, double-turn elevation system, and zero stop support fast elevation changes with a reliable return to zero. With 27.90 mrad of elevation and windage adjustment and 14 mrad per turn on the elevation turret, the scope offers the travel and speed needed for modern long-range shooting. A side-focus parallax adjustment from 50 m to infinity, fixed 90.00 mm eye relief, and a fast-focus eyepiece complete a layout designed for stable shooting positions, repeatable setup, and efficient target engagement.

About Tangent Theta

Tangent Theta was established in 2013 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where the company also manufactures its riflescopes. The brand focuses on precision riflescopes for professional marksmen, with products intended not only for duty and competition use but also for recreational hunters and shooters who want exact mechanical performance. Its lineup includes 3-15x, 5-25x, and 7-35x models, showing a clear concentration on precision and long-range shooting rather than broad sporting optics categories.

Tangent Theta’s reputation is tied to a narrow but specialized field: designing and building riflescopes with dependable adjustment systems and configurations suited to serious marksmanship. International distribution is handled by Armament Technology Incorporated, while manufacturing remains centered in Halifax. For shooters considering tactical optics or precision shooting equipment, the company stands out for its dedicated focus on riflescopes rather than a general outdoor optics catalog.
