Smith & Wesson Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam

• Dual-beam output: The Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam combines practical task lighting with a broader beam option, making it easier to move between close work and general area illumination without changing tools.
• Adjustable beam focus: Focus control lets the light shift from a tighter throw to a wider flood, which is useful when scanning farther ahead or lighting up a nearby workspace more evenly.
• Long runtime: With 72.50 h of battery life, this handheld flashlight is suited to extended use, emergency kits, vehicle storage, and backup duty where frequent battery changes are inconvenient.
• Weather-ready construction: Its waterproof and fogproof build helps the light stay dependable in rain, damp storage conditions, and changing temperatures outdoors.
• Lightweight polymer housing: The polymer body keeps weight down and is comfortable for everyday carry, while still offering the durability expected from a general-purpose handheld light.

About the Smith & Wesson Flashlights Series

Smith & Wesson Flashlights covers both handheld lights and headlamps, giving the brand a practical lighting range that extends from everyday carry to more task-focused outdoor and utility use. Within the lineup, the series includes compact handheld models as well as wearable lighting solutions, so users can choose between a traditional torch format and hands-free illumination depending on the job.

The family is built around straightforward LED lighting with an emphasis on usability. Some models in the broader range are intended for everyday use, while others are positioned more toward heavier-duty or tactical-style applications. Across the series, the common thread is functional design: simple controls, portable form factors, and beam patterns suited to general navigation, close work, and routine outdoor tasks. That makes the series relevant for users who want a dependable light for home, travel, vehicles, campsites, or field gear rather than a highly specialized search light.

About the Smith & Wesson Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam

The Smith & Wesson Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam is a handheld flashlight built for users who need one light to cover both close-range tasks and more directed illumination. Its dual-beam concept is especially useful in day-to-day situations where lighting needs change quickly: checking gear in a bag, walking a dark path, inspecting a vehicle, or keeping a reliable torch in a glove compartment or emergency kit. The stated 101-200 m illumination distance gives it enough reach for general outdoor movement while still keeping the light compact and easy to carry.

A key practical feature is the focusable beam. Instead of being locked into one beam shape, the light can be adjusted for a tighter hotspot when more throw is needed or opened up for broader coverage at short range. That flexibility makes the Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam more useful than a fixed-beam light in mixed environments, especially when moving between indoor and outdoor use.

The LED emitter supports efficient operation, and the use of AAA batteries keeps power sourcing simple and widely accessible. Combined with a quoted 72.50 h battery life, the light is well suited to backup roles where long standby and practical runtime matter more than high-drain specialty output. Its polymer housing, along with waterproof and fogproof protection, rounds out a design aimed at dependable everyday service in varied weather and storage conditions.

About Smith & Wesson

Smith & Wesson was founded in 1852 in Springfield, Massachusetts, by Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson. The company is best known for firearms, but its product range extends into related equipment and accessories, including lighting products, suppressors, restraints, and gear sold under the Smith & Wesson and Gemtech brands. That broader catalog helps explain why its flashlights are designed with practical field use in mind rather than as purely recreational gadgets.

Today, Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. is headquartered in Maryville, Tennessee. In the lighting category, the company’s catalog includes handheld flashlights and headlamps, with product families such as Night Guard, M&P Night Terror, and Delta Force. This background gives the brand a clear connection to duty, outdoor, and utility-oriented equipment, which suits a handheld flashlight like the Galaxy Elite Dual-Beam.
