Shilba Classic 3-9x32 Product description

  • 3-9x variable magnification: The zoom range gives this riflescope the flexibility needed for both closer woodland shots and more deliberate shooting at longer stalking distances, without adding the bulk of a larger optic.
  • 32 mm objective lens: The compact front lens helps keep the scope light and well balanced on slimmer hunting rifles, while still providing a practical sight picture for daytime field use.
  • Second focal plane reticle: With the reticle staying the same visual size throughout the zoom range, the aiming point remains easy to pick up quickly at low power and uncluttered at higher magnification.
  • Capped multi-turn turrets: The capped design protects the adjustments from accidental movement during transport or rough handling in the field, making it well suited to a hunting setup that is zeroed and then left alone.
  • Waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction: Nitrogen filling and sealed construction help the scope stay usable through changing weather, temperature shifts and normal recoil, supporting dependable performance on working hunting rifles.

About the Shilba Classic Series

The Shilba Classic series sits in the brand's traditional hunting-scope range and reflects the straightforward design approach that first established Shilba's name in riflescopes. Its roots go back to the brand's early basic scope formats, and the line remains focused on practical field use rather than complex tactical features. Within the series, Shilba has offered fixed-power 4x32, 4x40 and 6x40 models, illuminated IRG variants, and a variable-power 3-9x configuration for shooters who want more flexibility from one optic.

Across the range, the emphasis is on Hi-Resolution lenses, aluminum construction and weather-resistant design suited to hunting conditions. The Classic family is built for users who want a conventional riflescope with clear aiming, manageable size and uncomplicated controls. Reticle options in the series center on the R4 pattern, a familiar hunting layout that supports quick target acquisition without an overly busy sight picture. In practice, the Classic line is aimed at stalking and general-purpose hunting rifles, where moderate magnification, reliable mechanics and compact proportions matter more than exposed turrets or specialized long-range features.

About the Shilba Classic 3-9x32

The Shilba Classic 3-9x32 is a compact variable-power riflescope built for hunters who want one optic to cover a broad range of everyday shooting distances. Its 3.00 x to 9.00 x magnification range makes it easy to stay fast at lower power when shooting in tighter terrain, then add precision at higher power when the shot stretches out. Combined with the 32.00 mm objective lens, the scope keeps overall size and front-end weight down, which helps preserve the handling of lighter stalking rifles.

The reticle is placed in the 2. focal plane - SFP, so its apparent size does not change as magnification increases. That is a practical advantage on a hunting riflescope because the aiming pattern remains easy to see at low power and does not become visually heavy at the top end. Since this model has no daytime-usable illumination, it favors a simple, always-ready layout with no brightness controls to manage in the field.

Mechanically, the scope uses capped turrets, a sensible choice for a rifle that is carried often and adjusted rarely after zeroing. The 25.4 mm tube, nitrogen filling and waterproof, fogproof and shockproof construction support dependable use in changing outdoor conditions. At 255.00 mm long and 340.00 g, it remains trim and easy to mount on compact hunting rifles where low weight and clean proportions are part of the appeal.

About Shilba

Shilba traces its origins to an optical workshop near Osaka, Japan, in 1960. The brand's riflescope story took shape in 1975, when technicians from Argentina traveled to Japan to develop a scope intended for hare hunting. The first two riflescope models, a 4×32 and a 4×40, sold through their initial 2,000-unit production run in under 60 days, helping establish the brand in the field.

In 1981, the original Japanese factory owner sold the Shilba brand, its know-how and its business contacts to the current owners. Since then, Shilba has expanded beyond riflescopes into binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes, and scope mounts and rings. The company later broadened its reach by exporting to neighboring Latin American countries in 2000 and entering the Spanish market in 2004. That background gives Shilba a long-standing connection to practical sporting optics built around accessible, field-oriented designs.
