Redding .272'' Neck Sizing Bushing

1. Adjustable Neck Tension: This Redding neck sizing bushing allows reloaders to precisely control the amount of tension applied to the case neck, a critical factor for achieving optimal bullet retention and consistent bullet release. By selecting different bushing sizes (available separately), shooters can fine-tune the seating force, leading to improved accuracy.

2. Preserves Case Life: As a neck sizing die bushing, it works by resizing only the neck of the cartridge case, leaving the fire-formed body undisturbed. This minimizes wear and tear on the brass, extends case life significantly, and maintains concentricity, which is particularly beneficial for precision rifle shooters who prioritize longevity and consistency with their brass.

3. Superior Material and Craftsmanship: Made from precision-machined, hardened steel, this bushing offers exceptional durability and a smooth surface finish. The exacting manufacturing standards ensure reliable, repeatable sizing with minimal friction, protecting your brass from unnecessary scratches or deformation during the reloading process.

4. Component for Bushing Dies: This .272'' neck sizing bushing is a crucial component designed to be used with Redding's renowned Type S Bushing Sizing Dies or other compatible bushing die systems. This modular design provides unparalleled flexibility, allowing handloaders to easily swap out bushings for different calibers or to experiment with varying neck tensions for specific bullet and bore combinations.

ABOUT THE Redding .272'' Neck Sizing Bushing

The Redding .272'' Neck Sizing Bushing stands out as a fundamental component for reloaders aiming for unparalleled precision and extending the life of their rifle brass. Unlike traditional dies that resize the entire case, this bushing, when paired with a Redding Type S Bushing Sizing Die, meticulously sizes only the neck of the cartridge. This unique capability allows handloaders to achieve precise control over neck tension, which is paramount for consistent bullet seating and reliable ignition, directly translating to enhanced accuracy downrange. Crafted from hardened, precision-machined steel, its robust construction ensures long-lasting durability and repeatable performance that competitive shooters and serious hunters demand. By preserving the fire-formed dimensions of the case body, it significantly reduces brass fatigue, making it an indispensable tool for those who process a high volume of ammunition or seek to maximize the lifespan of expensive cases. Ideal for tactical applications, sport shooting, and hunting, this bushing helps create ammunition with minimal runout, improving overall ballistic consistency.
