Pixfra Pegasus P650

• 640x512 thermal sensor: The higher-resolution detector gives the Pegasus P650 a more detailed thermal image, helping separate animals, terrain edges and background clutter at longer distances.
• 50 mm F1.0 objective lens: A large, fast lens gathers more thermal energy, which improves image brightness and supports the scope’s long 2600.00 m detection capability in open country.
• FHD OLED display with PIPS technology: The 1440x1080 screen works with Pixfra image processing to present a clear, low-latency view that is easier to interpret during scanning and shot placement.
• Traditional 30 mm tube format: The Pegasus design keeps a familiar riflescope profile and lower mounting position, making it easier to integrate into established hunting rifle setups.
• Recording and WiFi connectivity: Built-in photo, video and video-output functions, together with 64 GB built-in storage and WiFi support, let the scope document hunts and share footage without extra accessories.

About the Pixfra Pegasus Series

Pixfra Pegasus is a thermal riflescope series built around a familiar day-scope form factor for hunters and outdoor users who want thermal capability without changing their shooting habits. The series sits in Pixfra’s dedicated thermal scope range and includes models with 384 × 288 and 640 × 512 detector resolutions, paired with either 35 mm or 50 mm lenses to suit different terrain and engagement distances. Across the range, Pegasus models use an uncooled vanadium-oxide detector, 12 μm pixel pitch and a 50 Hz frame rate, giving the series a consistent balance of image fluidity and practical field performance.

A key part of the Pegasus concept is its combination of a 30 mm tube diameter, FHD OLED display and Pixfra’s image-processing platform, which keeps the handling close to a conventional hunting optic while delivering a digital thermal image. The series also supports recoil-activated video and audio recording with 64 GB of built-in storage, making it suitable not only for hunting optics use but also for wildlife observation and outdoor exploration. In practice, Pegasus models are aimed at users who want a straightforward thermal riflescope with modern recording functions, clear controls and a layout that remains intuitive in low-light and night-time field conditions.

About the Pixfra Pegasus P650

Pixfra Pegasus P650 is the long-range, high-resolution configuration in the standard Pegasus line, combining a 640x512 VOx uncooled sensor with a 50.00 mm F 1.0 objective lens. That pairing is important in the field: the 640-class detector provides finer target definition than lower-resolution thermal scopes, while the 50 mm lens extends reach and helps the scope achieve a stated 2600.00 m detection range. For hunting over open ground, field edges or larger clearings, this gives the P650 a clear advantage when early detection matters.

The scope uses a fixed 2.78 x optical magnification, which keeps the image simple and stable for users who prefer a consistent sight picture rather than a variable base magnification. Its OLED display with 1440x1080 resolution presents the thermal image with good contrast, and the combination of a 12.00 μm pixel pitch, 30.00 mK NETD and 50.00 Hz refresh rate supports smoother observation and better separation of subtle heat differences. In practical terms, that helps when identifying animals against uneven backgrounds or in changing weather.

Multi reticle options allow the P650 to be configured to shooter preference, while the metal housing, waterproof and fogproof construction, and operating range of -30°C to +50°C make it suitable for demanding outdoor use. The scope also adds useful digital features, including image capture, video recording, video output and WiFi connectivity. Together with its rechargeable battery system and up to 13.00 h battery life, the P650 is designed for extended night hunting sessions where detection range, image detail and straightforward handling matter more than extra complexity.

About Pixfra

Pixfra is the outdoor brand of Zhejiang Pixfra Technology Co., Ltd., based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China. The company focuses on thermal imaging modules, cores, outdoor products, cameras and related imaging solutions, with a product range that includes thermal monoculars, thermal scopes, thermal front attachments, multispectral binoculars and digital day-and-night scopes. This background is relevant to the Pegasus P650 because it shows that Pixfra works across both core thermal technology and complete field-ready devices, rather than treating outdoor optics as a single isolated category.

Within its outdoor line, Pixfra identifies hunting, outdoor exploration and animal observation as key applications. The brand also uses its own image-processing technologies in several product families, including PIPS 2.0 in the Mile 2 series, reflecting a broader emphasis on digital image optimisation as well as sensor hardware. In the thermal optics segment, Pixfra has built a catalogue that covers handheld, weapon-mounted and multispectral formats, giving it a focused reputation in practical thermal observation and aiming devices.
