About the 256 LE2-16 Model

The Leopard 256 LE2-16 features a 256x192 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and thermal sensitivity of NETD ≤25 mK. Optimized for shorter-range applications, the built-in 16mm lens offers a generous field of view of approximately 25.2 meters at 100 meters, making it ideal for quick target acquisition and broad situational awareness.

The thermal image is displayed on a high-quality 1920x1080 AMOLED screen, offering excellent brightness and contrast. The unit supports digital zoom levels of 2x, 4x, 6x, and 8x, along with Pard’s IREA image engine for enhanced clarity and detail recognition, even in rain, fog, or low thermal contrast environments.

The LE2-16 also supports thermal imaging palettes such as White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Iron Hot, Edge, and Sky, along with picture-in-picture (PIP), hot tracking, loop recording, and built-in gyroscope and e-compass. Media can be captured at 1440x1080 resolution and saved to a microSD card (up to 128GB). Connectivity options include USB Type-C, HDMI output, and Wi-Fi with PardVision2 app support.

The device is powered by a single 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, delivering up to 6 hours of runtime. Encased in a durable aluminum alloy + composite housing, the unit weighs just 330g, making it one of the lightest thermal monoculars in its class.
