Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Full

• Self-Illuminated Tritium System: the Meprolight Tru-Dot sight picture stays visible in low light and at night without batteries, so the pistol remains ready for defensive or duty use at any hour.
• Three-Dot Alignment: the fixed 3-dot layout gives a familiar sight picture that is easy to read quickly, helping faster front-sight acquisition and more consistent alignment under stress.
• Steel Construction: the all-steel body is built to handle slide movement, holster wear, and regular carry, giving the sight set the durability expected from a hard-use handgun upgrade.
• Fixed Sight Setup: the fixed configuration keeps the system simple and robust, with no adjustment screws to snag or shift, which suits service pistols and everyday carry handguns.
• USP Full Compatibility: this version is made for the Heckler & Koch USP Full, providing a model-specific replacement for factory sights rather than a generic fit.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot Series

Meprolight Tru-Dot is the company’s established line of self-illuminated handgun sights, built for shooters who want a simple iron-sight system that works in both daylight and reduced light. The series covers fixed, adjustable, and suppressor-height configurations, which places it across defensive carry, service pistol, and specialized handgun setups rather than in a single narrow role. A defining trait of the line is its tritium-powered 3-dot sight picture, designed to keep the same basic aiming reference from bright conditions into darkness without relying on batteries or activation controls.

Within the wider Meprolight handgun catalog, the Tru-Dot family serves shooters who prefer a durable mechanical sighting system with low-light capability built in. The series is designed as a replacement for factory front and rear sights on compatible pistols, and selected models are offered with different tritium dot color combinations. Some variants add windage and elevation adjustment at the rear, while others use taller suppressor-height dimensions for pistols equipped with a suppressor or optic. Across the range, the emphasis stays on clear alignment, constant readiness, and a practical steel construction suited to regular carry and hard use.

About the Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Full

The Meprolight Tru-Dot for Heckler & Koch USP Full is a dedicated night sight set for shooters who want a straightforward upgrade to the standard iron sights on a full-size USP. Its core advantage is the self-illuminated tritium system, which provides a visible aiming reference in low-light and nighttime conditions without switches, batteries, or charging. That matters on a defensive or duty pistol, where the sight picture needs to be available immediately and remain consistent regardless of ambient light.

This model uses a fixed 3-dot alignment with a square rear sight, a combination that favors quick visual indexing and a familiar sight picture. The square rear notch helps define the front sight cleanly, while the three-dot arrangement supports fast alignment at close to moderate handgun distances. Because the sights are fixed rather than adjustable, the setup stays mechanically simple and resistant to snagging or accidental movement, which is useful on a pistol that may be carried, holstered frequently, or used for regular training.

The sight set is built from steel, giving it the strength needed to cope with slide impact and daily wear. On a platform such as the HK USP Full, that makes the Tru-Dot a practical choice for users who prioritize durability, low-light visibility, and a no-battery iron-sight solution over more complex sighting systems.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company is a division of SK Group and focuses on the development and manufacture of optical and electro-optical sighting systems. Its products serve military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets, which gives the brand a strong connection to hard-use applications rather than purely sporting use.

The company’s range covers conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, thermal sights, magnified optics, magnifiers, and night-vision systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines. That background is especially relevant to the Tru-Dot line, where Meprolight applies its experience in self-illuminated aiming systems to compact handgun sights intended for constant readiness and dependable low-light use.
