Meprolight HVS for CZ 75

• Self-illuminated tritium system: the sights stay visible in low light and darkness without batteries or switches, so the pistol is ready at any hour with no extra setup.
• High-visibility 3-dot layout: the three-dot arrangement gives a familiar sight picture that helps the eye pick up the front sight quickly for faster alignment at defensive and range distances.
• U-notch rear sight: the U-shaped rear profile naturally centers the front sight, making sight acquisition feel less cramped and easier under time pressure.
• Steel construction: the all-steel build stands up well to daily carry, repeated holstering, and hard use while keeping the sight set stable on the slide.
• Fixed sight design: a fixed setup keeps the system simple and durable, with no adjustment controls to snag or shift during routine carry or handling.

About the Meprolight HVS Series

The Meprolight HVS series, later renamed Hyper-Bright in 2021, is Meprolight’s family of high-visibility handgun sights built for shooters who need a clear sight picture in both daylight and darkness. The concept behind the series is straightforward: combine self-illuminated tritium in the front and rear sights with a bold, easy-to-see daytime presentation, so the pistol remains usable across changing light conditions without batteries.

These sights use a fixed three-dot layout with a U-shaped rear notch, a combination chosen for fast visual indexing rather than target-style precision adjustments. Steel construction supports daily carry, duty use, and regular training, while the compact profile remains appropriate for service and defensive pistols. Across the family, Meprolight offers different front-ring color options, including orange, green, and yellow, to suit shooter preference and contrast needs. The HVS/Hyper-Bright line is intended for practical pistol use where rapid alignment, dependable low-light visibility, and straightforward handling matter more than complexity.

About the Meprolight HVS for CZ 75

The Meprolight HVS for CZ 75 is a dedicated tritium night sight set made to give the CZ 75 platform a clearer, more consistent sight picture in everyday carry, defensive use, and general range work. Because it is a fixed sight system, it favors reliability and simplicity: once installed, there are no exposed adjustment parts to manage, and the sight picture remains consistent from draw to draw.

The practical strength of this model is its self-illuminated three-dot arrangement. In bright conditions, the shape and contrast of the sights help the shooter acquire alignment quickly. In dim interiors, transitional light, or full darkness, the tritium continues to provide a visible aiming reference without relying on batteries. The green rear dots and U-shaped rear sight help frame the front sight naturally, which can make sight acquisition feel faster and less visually cluttered than a narrow square-notch arrangement.

Steel construction gives the sight set the durability expected for a pistol that may be carried regularly, holstered often, or used in frequent practice. The black finish keeps the overall appearance subdued while reducing distraction on the slide. For CZ 75 owners who want a robust handgun sight upgrade with round-the-clock visibility and a familiar sight picture, this model focuses on speed, durability, and low-light readiness rather than adjustment complexity.
