Meprolight FT Bullseye for Springfield XD

• Single-sight bullseye aiming system: The FT Bullseye replaces the usual front-and-rear sight picture with one circular reference, helping the shooter find alignment faster at defensive distances and reducing visual clutter during rapid presentations.
• Fiber optic and tritium illumination: Daylight brightness comes from fiber optics, while tritium keeps the aiming reference visible in low light and darkness, so the sight remains usable without batteries in changing conditions.
• Low-profile fixed construction: Its fixed design keeps the sight compact and snag-resistant, which suits concealed-carry pistols and reduces the chance of the sight catching on clothing or gear during the draw.
• Aluminium housing: The aluminium body gives the sight a solid, durable structure while keeping weight low, which is important on a carry pistol that is handled often and carried daily.
• Springfield XD fitment: This version is made for compatible Springfield XD, XDM, and Hellcat non-OSP models, giving owners of those pistols a dedicated FT Bullseye configuration rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye Series

The Meprolight FT Bullseye series sits in the company’s current handgun-sights lineup as a compact alternative to conventional pistol sights for defensive and concealed-carry use. Instead of asking the shooter to align a front blade inside a rear notch, the front-sight version uses a bullseye aiming reference that is designed to work without a rear sight. That concept simplifies the sight picture and favors fast target acquisition at the short to medium distances where carry pistols are most often used.

Across the family, Meprolight combines fiber optics for daytime illumination with tritium for low-light illumination, so the sight remains visible around the clock without relying on batteries. The FT Bullseye line includes both front-sight and rear-sight versions and is offered in fitments for a range of compatible pistols, including Glock models and other common defensive handguns. The series is defined by its compact form, battery-free operation, and a sighting method that prioritizes speed, intuitive alignment, and practical carry use over the traditional notch-and-post layout.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye for Springfield XD

The Meprolight FT Bullseye for Springfield XD is a dedicated self-illuminated pistol sight built for shooters who want a faster, simpler sight picture on a compatible carry or defensive handgun. In this fitment, the FT Bullseye is intended for Springfield XD, XDM, and Hellcat non-OSP models, making it relevant to users who want to upgrade a factory pistol without moving to an electronic red dot.

Its defining feature is the outline bullseye alignment system. Rather than shifting focus between a front sight and a rear sight, the shooter centers the aiming reference in a single visual plane. In practice, that can make presentation more intuitive and help shorten the time needed to confirm alignment, especially in close-range defensive shooting where speed matters. Because the sight is self-illuminated, it remains visible in daylight and low light without switches, batteries, or brightness controls to manage.

The sight uses an aluminium housing and a fixed adjustment layout, which keeps the unit compact and mechanically simple. That matters on a carry pistol, where low bulk, snag resistance, and dependable operation are often more important than user-adjustable settings. As a tritium night sight, it also supports low-light use while preserving the straightforward handling of an iron-sight system. The result is a handgun sight that bridges the gap between traditional irons and reflex-style speed, while staying compact enough for everyday carry.
