Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P

• Single-sight bullseye aiming system: The FT Bullseye replaces the conventional front-and-rear-sight picture with one compact aiming reference, helping speed up sight acquisition on defensive pistols and simplifying alignment under stress.
• Fiber-optic and tritium illumination: Daytime brightness comes from fiber optics, while tritium keeps the sight visible in low light and darkness, so the sight remains usable around the clock without relying on batteries.
• Low-profile fixed design: Its fixed configuration keeps the sight compact and snag-resistant, which suits concealed-carry handguns and supports consistent presentation from the holster.
• Aluminium construction: The aluminium housing gives the sight a durable structure without unnecessary bulk, making it suitable for regular carry and repeated slide cycling.
• Always-on operation: Because the FT Bullseye is self-illuminated and battery-free, it is ready as soon as the pistol is drawn, with no switches, brightness settings, or power management to think about.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye Series

The Meprolight FT Bullseye series sits in the company’s current handgun-sights lineup as a compact alternative to conventional pistol sights and slide-mounted optics. The family is built around a bullseye aiming reference that is designed to speed up alignment by presenting the shooter with a single visual cue rather than a separate front and rear sight picture. In the front-sight version, the system is specifically intended to work without a rear sight, which keeps the setup simple and compact on compatible defensive and concealed-carry pistols.

Across the series, Meprolight combines fiber optics for daylight use with tritium for low-light illumination, giving the sight a constant aiming reference in changing light conditions without batteries. The FT Bullseye family includes both front-sight and rear-sight versions for different pistol fitments, including models made for Glock-pattern handguns and other common service-pistol platforms. The design philosophy is straightforward: keep the sight low, durable, and immediately visible, while reducing the visual complexity of traditional iron sights for close-range defensive shooting.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P

The Meprolight FT Bullseye for S&W M&P is a dedicated handgun night sight made for shooters who want a faster, simpler sight picture on a compatible S&W M&P pistol. Instead of the usual front blade and rear notch, this model uses an outline bullseye alignment system that brings the eye to a single aiming reference. In practical use, that can make the pistol feel quicker to index at defensive distances, especially when the priority is fast presentation rather than fine target-style sight alignment.

The sight is self-illuminated, combining the constant visibility expected from a tritium night sight with a battery-free design that is always ready. That matters on a carry or duty pistol, where there is no need to activate electronics or monitor power status before use. Its fixed adjustment layout also suits a defensive handgun role: there are no exposed controls to shift unintentionally, and the sight remains compact and streamlined on the slide.

Built from aluminium, the FT Bullseye balances durability with low weight, while its low-profile form helps preserve practical carry handling. For shooters moving from conventional pistol sights to a more instinctive close-range aiming system, this model offers a compact solution that keeps the pistol simple, visible in poor light, and ready for everyday defensive use.

About Meprolight

Meprolight was founded in 1990 as a supplier of sights and battle optics to the Israel Defense Forces. Based in Or Akiva, Israel, the company serves military, law-enforcement, and civilian markets and operates as a division of SK Group. Its core expertise is the development and manufacture of optical and electro-optical sighting systems.

Over time, Meprolight has built a broad catalogue that includes conventional sights, tritium night sights, reflex optics, magnified optics, magnifiers, night-vision systems, and thermal devices. The company also produces sighting systems for pistols, rifles, shotguns, and carbines, which gives it a strong background in both defensive handgun sights and more complex tactical optics. That mix of military heritage and practical small-arms focus is directly relevant to products such as the FT Bullseye series.
