Meprolight FT Bullseye for H&K VP9

• Single-sight bullseye aiming system: The FT Bullseye replaces the usual front-and-rear arrangement with one compact sight picture, helping speed up target acquisition and reducing the need to align multiple reference points under stress.
• Fiber optic and tritium illumination: Daylight brightness comes from fiber optics, while tritium keeps the aiming reference visible in low light and darkness, so the sight remains usable around the clock without batteries.
• Low-profile fixed design: Its compact aluminium construction keeps the pistol streamlined for concealed carry and everyday handling, while the fixed setup avoids accidental adjustment changes.
• Self-illuminated operation: Because the sight is always on, there is no switch to activate and no battery to monitor, which suits defensive pistols that must remain ready at all times.
• HK VP9-specific fitment: This version is made for compatible H&K VP9 pattern pistols, giving owners a dedicated installation option within the FT Bullseye family rather than a generic one-size-fits-all sight.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye Series

Meprolight FT Bullseye sits in the company’s current handgun-sights lineup as a compact sighting system built around a different aiming concept from conventional pistol irons. Instead of the usual front blade and rear notch, the series uses a bullseye-style reference that simplifies the sight picture and is intended for fast, intuitive shooting. Within the family, Meprolight offers both front-sight and rear-sight versions, with the front-sight type designed to work without a rear sight on compatible pistols.

The series is aimed at defensive and concealed-carry pistols, where a fast first sight picture matters more than a traditional target-style arrangement. For illumination, FT Bullseye sights combine fiber optics for daytime use with tritium for low-light conditions, so the aiming reference remains visible across changing light without relying on electronics. That battery-free design is one of the defining traits of the series. Meprolight also builds the FT Bullseye family around model-specific fitments for popular handguns, giving shooters a purpose-built option for carry and duty-style sidearms rather than a universal compromise.

About the Meprolight FT Bullseye for H&K VP9

The Meprolight FT Bullseye for H&K VP9 is a self-illuminated pistol night sight built for shooters who want a faster, simpler sight picture on a compatible defensive handgun. Its defining feature is the single-sight bullseye alignment, which replaces the normal front-and-rear sight relationship with one visual reference. In practical use, that can make the pistol quicker to index from the draw and easier to read at close defensive distances, especially when there is limited time to refine a traditional sight picture.

This model uses fiber optics in daylight and tritium in low light, so the aiming reference stays visible from bright outdoor conditions to dim indoor environments without batteries or manual activation. That always-ready format suits a carry pistol, because there is nothing to switch on before the shot. The fixed sight adjustment also supports a straightforward, durable setup with no exposed controls to snag or shift during daily carry.

Its aluminium housing keeps the unit light and robust, while the compact form helps preserve the handling qualities of the VP9 platform. The outline alignment type and O-style rear sight reference are part of the FT Bullseye concept, giving the shooter a centered visual cue rather than a conventional notch-and-post picture. For owners of compatible H&K pistols, this model offers a dedicated low-profile alternative to standard iron sights, with an emphasis on speed, simplicity, and constant readiness.

About Meprolight
