Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for MeoSport

• Objective Lens Protection: This flip-up cover shields the front lens of a MeoSport riflescope from dust, rain and scratches, helping preserve a clear sight picture in the field.
• Fast Flip-Open Access: The hinged design opens in one movement, so the scope is ready for use without removing a cap or handling loose parts.
• Made for MeoSport: Built specifically for the MeoSport line, it offers a more secure and neater fit than a generic lens cover and stays aligned with the scope body.
• Low-Bulk Accessory: With a weight of 50.00 g, it adds lens protection without noticeably affecting the handling or balance of the rifle.
• Field-Ready Finish: The black exterior keeps the accessory visually discreet and matches the practical look of modern hunting optics.

About the Meopta Accesories Series

Meopta Accesories brings together the supporting equipment that helps Meopta sports optics work more effectively in real use. The range includes lens caps, eyepieces, tripod adapters and carrying cases, along with more specialized items such as binocular converters, photo-adapters and the MeoPix smartphone adapter system. Rather than treating accessories as afterthoughts, Meopta develops them around the practical needs of hunters, target shooters and observers who want their optics to stay protected, easier to transport and simpler to adapt to different tasks.

Within the wider Meopta lineup, this series supports the company’s riflescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes with purpose-built components that match the form and use of the host optic. The emphasis is on fit, protection and straightforward handling. Some accessories improve transport and storage, others help with mounting or digiscoping, and simple items such as lens covers matter because they keep optical surfaces cleaner and reduce the chance of damage during everyday field use. That practical focus makes the series a natural companion to Meopta hunting optics and observation equipment.

About the Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for MeoSport

The Meopta Objective Flip-up Cover for MeoSport is a simple but important riflescope accessory for protecting the objective lens when the optic is carried through brush, moved between shooting positions or stored between outings. The front lens is one of the most exposed parts of a scope, and keeping it covered helps reduce the buildup of dust, water spots and abrasion that can interfere with image clarity. For a hunting riflescope, that matters because a clean objective lens supports better contrast and a more dependable view when light is limited.

The flip-up format is especially useful in the field because it stays attached to the scope and opens quickly when the shot presents itself. There is no separate cap to pocket, drop or misplace, and the cover can be opened with a short, controlled movement. Because it is made specifically for the MeoSport series, the cover suits the proportions and intended use of that optic family better than a universal alternative. Its 50.00 g weight keeps the accessory unobtrusive on the rifle, while the black finish maintains a subdued appearance that blends naturally with modern scope bodies and hunting rifle setups.

About Meopta

Meopta traces its roots to Optikotechna, founded in Přerov, Czechoslovakia, in 1933. After World War II, the company was nationalized and renamed Meopta, and it remains headquartered in Přerov, Czech Republic. Across its history, Meopta has focused on the development and manufacture of optical, opto-mechanical and optoelectronic products, giving the brand a broad technical base that extends well beyond a single sporting category.

In sports optics, Meopta is known for riflescopes, binoculars and spotting scopes, and it resumed riflescope production in 1988. The company also uses proprietary technologies such as MeoBright antireflective coatings and MeoDrop hydrophobic lens coatings on its optics. That background is relevant here because even a small accessory like a flip-up cover reflects the same practical approach: protecting optical equipment so it remains ready for field use.
