MAK Fix Mount, 25.4mm, BH 11mm, Zastava M70

• Low scope position: The 11 mm BH height keeps a 1 inch riflescope close to the bore, which supports a more natural cheek weld and a steadier shooting position on classic bolt-action rifles.
• Steel two-piece construction: A steel mount gives the ring and base assembly the rigidity needed for repeatable alignment and long service life under regular field use.
• Model-specific fit: This version is built for the Zastava M70 bolt action, so it matches the rifle platform directly and avoids the compromises that can come with more universal mounting solutions.
• Fixed front and rear attachment: The MAKfix design secures at both mounting feet for a stable, non-quick-release installation that suits hunters and shooters who want a simple, permanent setup.
• 1 inch scope compatibility: The 25.4 mm ring size makes this mount a practical choice for traditional hunting optics built on 1 inch tubes, while preserving a clean, compact rifle profile.

About the MAKfix Series

MAKfix is MAK’s two-piece fixed mount series for bolt-action rifles, built around a straightforward idea: a scope mount should sit low, hold firmly, and match the rifle precisely. The series uses steel rings and a front-and-rear foot arrangement to create a stable platform for conventional scope installation, making it well suited to hunting rifles and traditional sporting setups where a permanent mount is preferred over a quick-release system.

Within the MAK lineup, MAKfix serves shooters who want a simple mechanical solution with model-specific fit rather than a universal rail-based approach. The series is offered for 1 inch (26 mm) or 30 mm scope tubes and in several heights, including 11 mm, 14 mm, 17 mm, and 20 mm, so the optic can be matched to the rifle and objective size. Variants with a standard or offset front foot broaden compatibility across different actions. In practice, the series is especially useful on rifles without open sights, where a low-mounted optic improves handling and keeps the sight line close to the bore.

About the MAK Fix Mount, 25.4mm, BH 11mm, Zastava M70

The MAK Fix Mount, 25.4mm, BH 11mm, Zastava M70 is a dedicated fixed mount for shooters using a 1 inch riflescope on the Zastava M70 bolt action. Its main advantage is not complexity but fit: the mount is configured for this rifle pattern and keeps the optic in a low, practical position. That matters on a hunting rifle, where a natural head position and fast sight acquisition are often more important than extra adjustment features.

The 11.00 mm BH height and 23.70 mm overall height help keep the scope close to the action, which can improve cheek weld and make the rifle feel more settled when shooting from field positions. Because this is a two-piece steel mount, it also preserves access around the action better than a bulky one-piece bridge while still providing the rigidity expected from a fixed installation. Steel construction is particularly relevant on a working rifle, where repeated recoil, transport, and seasonal use place more value on durability than on weight savings alone.

For traditional hunting optics with a 25.4 mm (1 inch) tube, this MAK mount offers a clean, mechanically simple setup. It suits shooters who want a permanent scope installation with a classic profile, especially on Mauser-pattern and related actions where secure fit and low mounting height are central to how the rifle handles in real use.
