MAK Single Ring for MAKuick / MAKflex, 30 mm Product description

  • 30 mm ring format: Built for riflescopes with a 30 mm tube, this ring provides the correct fit for a wide range of hunting and sporting optics used with MAK mounting systems.
  • Compatible with MAKuick and MAKflex: As a dedicated replacement or system component for MAKuick and MAKflex, it helps restore or complete an existing mount without changing the overall platform.
  • Aluminium construction: The aluminium body keeps weight down while maintaining the rigidity needed for stable scope positioning on a rifle.
  • 0 MOA configuration: With no built-in inclination, the ring keeps the optic in a neutral mounting position, which suits general-purpose zeroing and standard shooting distances.
  • 8 mm interface compatibility: Designed around the Ø 8 mm interface, it fits a broad range of compatible lower parts from MAK and other supported mounting systems, making it useful for repairs, replacements, and custom setups.

About the MAK Spare Parts Series

MAK Spare Parts covers replacement and system components for the brand’s mounting platforms, including single rings made for MAKuick and MAKflex. The series is intended for shooters who want to maintain an existing mount, replace a damaged upper part, or configure a setup around a specific riflescope tube diameter without replacing the entire assembly.

Within this family, MAK offers ring variants in different heights, while keeping the basic design focused on practical compatibility. These rings are built for 30 mm riflescope tubes, use an 8 mm interface, and follow a 0 MOA layout without built-in cant. The use of aluminum construction keeps the parts light and corrosion-resistant, which matters on a rifle that may be carried for long periods in the field. As part of a modular mounting system, the series is aimed at hunters and sport shooters who value the ability to replace only the necessary component and keep the rest of the mount in service.

About the MAK Single Ring for MAKuick / MAKflex, 30 mm

The MAK Single Ring for MAKuick / MAKflex, 30 mm is a dedicated upper mounting component for shooters using a 30 mm riflescope within the MAK quick-release or modular mounting ecosystem. Its role is straightforward but important: it provides the correct clamping interface for the scope tube while preserving compatibility with the lower mounting elements already in use. That makes it especially useful as a replacement part, for rebuilding an existing mount, or for adapting a setup around a different optic without abandoning the original system.

The ring uses an aluminium body, which helps keep overall rifle weight under control while still offering the stiffness needed for secure optic support. Its 0 MOA inclination suits conventional sighting setups where no additional cant is required, making it a sensible choice for general hunting optics and standard-distance shooting. The KR 0.0 mm extension keeps the configuration neutral, which is helpful when the goal is to match the original geometry of a MAKuick or MAKflex mount rather than alter eye relief position.

This model is also designed around the Ø 8 mm interface, allowing it to work with compatible lower parts across several supported systems. Because it has no adjustable windage and no added accessories such as a bubble level, the design stays simple, compact, and focused on its core task: holding a 30 mm scope tube securely in a clean, modular mounting arrangement.

About MAK

MAK is a German brand associated with Kilic Feintechnik GmbH in Schwebheim, Germany. The company develops and manufactures optical mounts, optics, and electronic products, serving civilian and government users alike. Its product range covers hunters, sports shooters, and professional users, with both standardized products and customized solutions for specialist applications.

Within the shooting optics field, MAK is particularly known for its mounting systems and for integrating patented ideas across its product lines. The brand’s portfolio includes the MAKuick quick-release mount family, the MAKmilmont monoblock line for Picatinny rails, as well as optics such as MAKdot red-dot sights, MAKstorm prism sights, and MAKpro riflescopes. This background makes MAK especially relevant in categories where repeatable mounting, modularity, and system compatibility matter as much as the optic itself.

Hello, I have an old Mak swivel mount.

I need two new rings with a 30 mm diameter.

The base height is 4 mm and the ring width is 15 mm.
What can you recommend?

by Christoph Roth

Dear Sir!

Please send us more information to [email protected] about your rifle and the exact model, as the required ring height depends on the rifle.

Also attach clear photos of the bases you currently have so we can verify compatibility. Are these MAK bases?

Based on this information, our sales team will recommend the best possible solution.

Kind regards,

Hey Are the 5mm MAK 30mm rings for MAKuick for Blaser high enough to clear the lower turret bulge of an Aimpoint 9000L or will I need the 7mm? Thanks

by John

Dear John,

thank you for contacting us.

The BH height of your ring should be 7 mm rather than 5 mm in order to be safe with the lower turret knob.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us directly at [email protected]. We are here to help.

Kind Regards,

Thank you

Hi! For 56mm front objective, are 5 mm rings high enough for clearance? Scope is Steiner Ranger 6, rifle is Sako L579.

by Kim

Dear Sir,

thanks for reaching out to us.

The minimum height required for the scope to fit is approximately 16.7 mm. Assuming that your base is around 12 mm high (as are most Makuick bases), the 5 mm option should provide enough clearance for your setup.

However, we recommend opting for the 7 mm option. This choice will give you a bit of extra clearance.

If you have any other questions or need more assistance, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards
