ABOUT THE MODEL (LEICA OLLIN SNAPSHOT SPOTTER ADAPTER)

The Leica Ollin Snapshot Spotter Adapter is a dedicated digiscoping adapter designed for Leica APO-Televid and Televid spotting scopes. It enables users to quickly connect a compatible smartphone and capture photos or videos directly through the spotting scope eyepiece.

At the core of the system is a magnetic self-centering mechanism that automatically aligns the smartphone camera with the optical axis of the spotting scope. This ensures accurate positioning, eliminates the need for manual adjustments, and provides a smooth digiscoping experience.

In combination with an Ollin Snapcase or a Magnetic Tab (both sold separately), the adapter allows a compatible smartphone to be quickly connected to the spotting scope for capturing photos and videos directly through the optics.

The slim design allows the adapter to remain mounted on the eyepiece during normal observation, enabling users to switch instantly between viewing and image capture without interrupting their observation session. A magnetic protective cap is included to protect the eyepiece when the adapter is not in use.
