Ledlenser HF4R Core Headlamp

• 500 lm output: Delivers enough light for walking, camp tasks and close-range work, with the reach to pick out details farther down the trail.
• 130 m beam distance: Gives the headlamp useful forward throw for route finding, while still remaining compact and easy to wear for everyday use.
• Rechargeable power system: Reduces battery changes and keeps the lamp ready for regular use, making it practical for commuting, outdoor use and household tasks.
• Adjustable intensity: Lets the light output match the task, helping preserve runtime for close work and adding more reach when conditions demand it.
• 72 g lightweight design: Keeps strain low during longer wear, so the lamp remains comfortable for hiking, repairs and general hands-free use.

About the Ledlenser Flashlights Series

Ledlenser Flashlights covers a broad range of portable lighting tools built for everyday carry, outdoor use and task-focused work. Within that wider family, Ledlenser’s headlamp lines are aimed at users who need hands-free illumination for movement, camp chores, maintenance and general outdoor activity. The range is known for combining compact form factors with practical beam control, so the light can be adapted to both near-field visibility and more focused distance use.

A defining part of Ledlenser’s design approach is the company’s Advanced Focus System, which combines lens and reflector elements to shift the beam from broad illumination to a more concentrated spot. Across the brand’s outdoor-oriented headlamp offerings, the emphasis is on straightforward operation, rechargeable power options and durable construction suited to regular field use. In practice, that makes the series relevant to hikers, campers and other users who want a light that is easy to carry, quick to operate and versatile enough for changing distances and tasks.

About the Ledlenser HF4R Core Headlamp

The Ledlenser HF4R Core Headlamp is a slim, lightweight rechargeable headlamp built for users who need a simple lighting tool that can move easily between everyday tasks and outdoor use. With 500.00 Lumen of output and a stated beam distance of 130.00 m, it has enough reach for walking paths, campsite movement and general navigation, while still being manageable for close work where a bulky lamp would be unnecessary. The head-mounted format keeps both hands free, which is especially useful for repairs, setting up gear or moving safely over uneven ground.

The lamp uses an LED emitter and offers adjustable intensity, allowing the output to be matched to the job instead of running at full power all the time. That matters in practice because lower settings are more comfortable for reading maps, working at arm’s length or preserving battery charge, while higher output is available when more distance or stronger illumination is needed. A push-button control keeps operation straightforward, which is important when the lamp is being used in cold weather, with gloves or during quick transitions between tasks.

At 72.00 g, the HF4R Core stays comfortable for extended wear and is light enough to carry as a regular companion rather than a specialist tool. Its rechargeable battery simplifies routine use, and the waterproof construction adds reassurance when the lamp is exposed to rain, damp campsites or wet working conditions.

About Ledlenser

Ledlenser was founded in 1993 by Rainer and Harald Opolka in Solingen, Germany. The company focuses on portable lighting products, including flashlights, headlamps, work lights, lanterns and floodlights. Ledlenser entered the flashlight market in 2000 with an LED flashlight and built its reputation around practical beam control and user-focused lighting design.

One of the brand’s best-known technologies is the Advanced Focus System, which combines lenses and reflectors to move between broad illumination and a more focused beam. Ledlenser also uses proprietary systems such as Smart Light Technology, Flex Sealing Technology and magnetic charging across parts of its range. That background is directly relevant to the HF4R Core, which reflects the company’s emphasis on compact construction, straightforward operation and lighting tools designed for regular outdoor and everyday use.
