Konuspro Plus 3-12x50 AO

• 3-12x magnification range: This zoom span covers close woodland shots at the low end and more deliberate placement at longer distances on the high end, making the scope well suited to general hunting use with one rifle setup.
• 50 mm objective lens: The larger front lens helps the scope gather more light in the first and last minutes of legal shooting time, supporting a brighter sight picture when game is most active.
• Adjustable objective parallax: With parallax adjustment from 10 m - Infinity, the image can be tuned for sharper focus and more precise aiming across a wide range of distances, including airgun and rimfire use.
• Illuminated SFP reticle: The 2. focal plane - SFP reticle with Red & Green illumination stays easy to see against dark backgrounds, while the familiar apparent reticle size remains constant through the zoom range.
• Field-ready construction: A nitrogen-filled, waterproof, fogproof and shockproof build helps the scope stay reliable through changing weather, temperature shifts and recoil.

About the Konuspro Series

Konuspro is Konus’s established sporting riflescope family, built to cover a broad spread of hunting and shooting applications rather than a single narrow role. Within the range, Konus offers several variants including Konuspro Plus, 275, 550, M-30, F-30, EL-30 and EVO, giving shooters options that run from straightforward hunting optics to more specialized long-range and tactical-style configurations. A defining trait of the series is Konus’s use of glass-etched reticles, a design chosen for better durability and more consistent alignment than traditional wire reticles.

Across the family, the Konuspro line is aimed at hunters, recreational marksmen and practical field shooters who want clear optical performance and dependable mechanics in familiar, usable formats. The series includes models for hunting, varmint shooting, long-range shooting, shotguns and airguns, which explains why the lineup spans compact low-power scopes, higher-magnification target models and illuminated variants. Some branches of the family add specialized features such as first focal plane reticles, ballistic holdover designs or electronic reticle selection, while the core Konuspro concept remains centered on practical magnification ranges, robust construction and straightforward operation in the field.

About the Konuspro Plus 3-12x50 AO

The Konuspro Plus 3-12x50 AO is a versatile hunting riflescope built around a magnification range that works well for mixed terrain. At 3x, it remains manageable for shorter shots and moving game in more confined ground, while 12x gives the shooter enough image scale for more careful shot placement at longer distances. The 50.00 mm objective supports better low-light usability than smaller hunting scopes, which is especially relevant at dawn and dusk when contrast and image brightness matter most.

This model uses a 2. focal plane - SFP reticle with red and green illumination. In practical use, that means the reticle keeps the same apparent size as magnification changes, which many hunters prefer because the sight picture stays familiar throughout the zoom range. The illuminated center helps the aiming point stand out against dark fur, shaded woodland edges or cluttered backgrounds, even though the illumination is not intended for bright daylight conditions.

The adjustable objective is a key feature on this model. With parallax correction from 10 m - Infinity, the scope can be tuned for a sharper target image and reduced aiming error at varied distances, making it useful not only on centerfire hunting rifles but also for closer-range precision work. Capped turrets protect the settings from accidental movement during transport and field carry, while the 1/4 MOA click value gives familiar, fine correction for zeroing. A fast focus eyepiece, fully multicoated optics and a nitrogen-filled, weather-resistant body round out a design focused on practical all-round use.

About Konus

Konus was founded in 1979 in Verona, Italy, and has built its name around optics for hunting, target shooting and general outdoor use. The company’s product range includes riflescopes as well as other outdoor optics, with a strong emphasis on accessible, practical designs for sporting users. In the riflescope segment, Konus has developed several established lines, including the Konuspro M-30 and T-30, showing a continued focus on both hunting and precision-oriented shooting applications.

A notable part of Konus’s riflescope development has been its work with laser-etched reticles, a construction approach chosen for durability and stable reticle alignment under recoil and regular field use. Konus Italia Group S.p.A. is based in Settimo di Pescantina, Italy, and the brand remains closely associated with sporting optics that balance straightforward operation, useful feature sets and category-specific designs for hunters and target shooters.
